The problem is not the cable or the port as it was fine when running stock image. I didn't try to transfer files on the internal storage though. But transferring multiple files to the sd card (ie. 11gb of pictures) hangs.. I had to split the transfer in multiple smaller ones. Once done, just listing the files takes forever! My sd card is a Samsung 64gb EVO Plus, which is fast enough. I tried to configure the sd card in both modes, internal and portable storage with the same result. So I ended up leaving it as portable storage and plug it with the adapter to my laptop to transfer the pictures and movies. In stock image, it didn't have an option to use it as internal or external.. or maybe is it just the drivers I installed to use with odin? I'll try to uninstall it to see if it changes anything.

Ej guys you know that i recently fixed the camera for the s3 neo for both samsung and sony cameras. Ive looked into @sub77 vendors and youre using a sony sensor (correct me if im wrong) or at least the same camera subsystem layout then we have. So wake up your dev and tell him its possible XD.
For any other devs look at this commit for sony sensor:
https://github.com/S3NEO/android_de...mmit/4dee51fa9babd2bead665685b5b50e1249de356c
that fixes the problem if you get this in logcat:
Code:

I'm also using the LOS by gpancot and it's working better than any rom I've used over the years. It's by far the best newer rom out there. Works great and feeling like it has brought new life back to my aging Tab4 T530NU. I also see he has a newer build up from May 11 2018 so I'm going to give that a try soon. With any luck he'll have figured out a working camera fix. I'll post back my results

Here's a link for anyone interested

Na, camera isn't all that important overall, but if there was a possible fix it was def worth a shot incorporating it. I personally would use it for video calling if it was working but I just use my phone. Anybody else ever get random shutdowns on their tablets? I can't figure out why mine does. It's not the rom because it does it on any rom unless I have it plugged in. It could be on 90% battery and still randomly shut down. Then I reboot it no issue and it still has 90% battery. Very weird issue. I'm thinking it may be a hardware issue but other than that it runs fine. Could be from my EX throwing it against a wall as well, not sure. Don't know how it didn't break either, probably because it only hit the corner of the tablet. I googled it and others had it as well and suggested maybe something to do with wifi. I I tried a couple things, played a game for a bit unplugged which was usually when it would shut down and it worked great for a bit and I thought it was fixed but then at a later time it shut down again.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
