Barbie has her Ken, now Sophia has her Keweon.
Btw, it is now working with Telcel
Ahh... I remember now. It was the problem with non working DNS.
Have you changed something?
Are you using the VPN or the Magisk Modules??

Did something change a few hours back? I'm suddenly seeing ads in Boost for Reddit client which it didn't before. Everywhere else it seems to be blocking fine.

Ad blocking is not working I see ads , using in magisk module selected second DNS option
As of today, Telcel stopped working with KeWeOn again. Damn.
Any way around it? Is there a chance of having a weekly update of hosts file?
Just asking, not pressing...
Using keweon (through magisk) i cant connect to ssh vpn account using an app called http injector or any app for that manner, need to disable it first before i can connect. I know KeweonDNS will be override with the vpn. so yeah i just want to say it. hehe
P.S
the app has dns option to use when using vpn, dont know if keweon is properly works with it though.
thanks. :good:
Maybe the VPN used by your app (or you?) has custom hosts which keweon can't possibly know about? If, for example, you try to connect to server24.mycoolservers your DNS server might know which domain it resolves to but keweon is just going to reply with UNKNOWN HOST.
Are your sure the app overrides keweon? Otherwise there should be no interference; please note tho that the magisk module uses iptables which should affect VPNs as well. It just redirects all outgoing traffic on port 53 to keweon.
Just curious how this compares to adaway for you guys. I'm interested in trying it. Also is it compatible with adaway?

Anyone using root based solutions (magisk module, iptables etc) to change DNS can confirm if it's working on kiwi browser(or chrome canary ,it's forks etc)?
You got me wrong,my issue is with setting DNS properly, not with DNS itself. Why wouldn't it? I'm using the Magisk module and it works on anything. As mentioned in the post before yours; this blocks on an OS level. It will work on any browser or other app for that matter.

@MrT69 @bhaskarjy0ti Is something up with the Roubaix server? I switched to that one (option 5 in Magisk module) yesterday and I lost all connections. Switching to the Amsterdam server (option 8) fixed it. In post #6 I see there are three Roubaix servers and two of them state "IPv4 IS NOT WORKING" so I'm suspecting that the Magisk module switches to one of those two.
