Guys. Can you help me with port for Sony Xperia U? This bootanimation is awesome. But I don't know how to make it in a proper way for android phone. Or maybe someone will make it and post to Xperia S, Go, U etc section. Thanks in advance.

audio
Thanks for the awesome boot animation.
btw, Is it just me or the boot animation doesn't have any sound/audio
unlike the one shown on youtube :/

It likely doesn't have sound. Most Streak ROMs don't support sound for the boot animation, though I know Longhorn 2.93 does.

Can you please tell me which particular tool you used to distort the text. [Image- F0115 and F0123]
I'm also creating a custom Alienware boot animation, and I'd like to use the same effect of distortion that you used.
Thanks.

whats the resolution for this thing? my screen is 1440p

Well, you're in the Dell Streak forums, a device which last saw an update 7 years ago. The 5" screen, introduced long before Samsung made them fashionable, only had a resolution of 800x480. The animation most likely matches, though the possibility exists that the actual images are smaller. [1] On your screen it will look tiny unless you modify the desc.txt file inside the zip to account for your screen. If you do that however the image will be fuzzy. On top of that, unless Samsung changed things, if you have a Samsung device you can't use boot animation zips at all. You'd have to use Samsung's tool and convert the boot animation to Samsung's proprietary format.

You probably will have better luck looking for a high res copy of the source and making your own boot animation.

[1]My boot animation for this device used this trick to keep the size of the final zip manageable.
