Wasn't sure where to put this so if it needs to be moved please do so.
Here is a link to a script that apparently seems to kill lag not only when gaming, but in the UI as well.

I ran this script last night using SManager and, IMO, it has decimated just about 98% of any lag I was getting in the UI. I used to have serious keyboard lag and navigation screens were jaggy. This fixed it all, and now I'm happy with my infuse again...
Give it a try, easily reverted back to the original settings unless you hard code it into your init.d file, in which case you should have made a backup. You did back that up, didn't you?
