[THEME][08/31] DarkFroyo 1.3 [BlackMod/BlackMatte Mashup][Black DroidX Keyboard!]

Hey all

Would like to introduce a theme i put together (kind of a mash-up between BlackMod and BlackMatte Metamorph).

I'd like to thank all the original creators of the respective themes. Please check their pages out and other work and support them. I've just gone ahead and ported whatever graphics over... all credit to them!

THIS IS NOT A METAMORPH THEME.

You can flash via recovery (please do a nandroid backup in case you want to switch back or encounter any hiccups). This has been tested on KaosFroyo31/32 as well as CyanogenTazz2.0.

Changelog:
1.3: Fixed an issue where 1.2 would not install keyboard properly on some ROMs.
1.2: Fix for force closes some users were experiencing.

Added download for status bar colors XML so you guys can easily import via Cynaogenmod Tweaks Extras rather than having to do it by hand See below.

1.1: Now includes DarkFroyo Edition of DroidX keyboard (darker version of gray AOSP look for Droid X Multitouch). Download and flash this zip just like usual to get the darker keyboard.

Instructions:
Download the above zip file and extract the xml to the root of your sdcard. Then go from your homescreen Menu > Settings > CyanogenMod settings > User interface > Tweaks Extras

Next click Import colors from XML. Reboot and profit.

FAQ

Help! my keyboard wont show up:
Long press an input field and make sure that the multi touch keyboard is enabled after flashing the theme.

I cant see my clock! How do I change my notification colors?!
Scroll up for detailed instructions on Status Bar Text Color XML Easy Import. Basically you can place a file at /sdcard/ and import from settings-cyan settings- user interface- tweaks extras- import from xml, reboot, and your colors will be white.

How do I change the carrier name from sprint?
You will need to use adb

create a blank plain text file using the editor of your choice (no rich text!)
paste:

Change "Defy Enterprises" to your desired carrier string and save file as eri.xml

adb push eri.xml /data/eri.xml

reboot and enjoy your new carrier string. You can do this for any rom/theme etc.

It should work on any froyo the gapps included are the latest.

Oh no you misunderstood me, I ment so that you can use the theme as a base, and create new themes. And become famous.But for now you could start with opening one file you used in the theme in Photoshop and converting it to dark purple, find the colour code and apply to the mod.

I may in the future. This just happened to be something i whipped up rather quickly for personal usage as i simply wanted a black and gray froyo. i decided other folks probably would enjoy having another dark option.
