Bit of a noob question coming from Samsung, but would flashing AOSiP keep the same camera quality as stock, being a Google phone? Or do I get the same tradeoff as I would using Lineageos?

Hey what is this everyone is talking about with the RAM management being trash etc? Isn't 4gig of ram enough in a phone for casual use? I'm looking to get the Pixel 3 and getting this rom on it, do you have any ram issues vs stock rom?

Been kicking around giving this a ROM a shot. Is it just as simple as it says with "wipe - flash"? I'm used to reinstalling latest stock ROM and having certain vendor builds and special crap that ends up confusing me... lol.

No Call Audio

Flashed the latest stable build and had no incoming or outgoing call audio. Had to factory reset and return to stock image to get call audio back.

Found a bug on security admin options menu getting deactivated as in not able toggle to activate/deactivate as device admin..

I previously thought could be due to Layers/sub issue but apparently not.

@xlxfoxxlx anyway you could look into this or if you want me to share more details. this is on a fresh install and no other root/custom kernels flashed. yet.

When i deactivate smart pixels then i am able to toggle these settings. changed the percentage from 50 to 12/25/38/62/75 and still the same error.

Device - Blueline

this is a known issue with smart pixels, unfortunately for now it will require turning it off to recognize the touch. Can probably take a look but i think its a limitation.

4 is limited for phones now but i can say i dont ever have a issue with it i always have plenty of apps open that stay open and phone uses an average of 2.9gb of ram for me

    Bug reporting:

    • DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
    • If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
    • Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

so will be doing weeklies for a release schedule but this last one was skipped as i was trying to get an issue figured and was waiting on feb update so will have that out in the next day or so. until now i see that jan firmware is needed for current build as feb had some changes. also good new... looks like DU team has gotten squeeze to work on aosp roms so that should be added in the near future.
