There is actually possibility to use Jodin to flash a A500FU with a Mac High Sierra Osx + Jodin? The last update on this page is 2014 and some links are broken, no way to flash Samsung with a Mac?

What about Wine to run Odin 3 on Mac? There is some issue about?

It's a big shame that there is no flash tool for non-windows systems and that samsung didn't simply use the common fastboot mechanism.

Using Wine will likely not work as Odin does not detect any USB device in that environment.

I'm facing a problem after hitting Start:
Code:

It seems it's crashing trying to exctract the images due to OutOfMemory, is there a way to run Jodin with Java on my machine instead of the bundled one?
I'm using latest version from download links JOdin3CASUAL-r1142-dist.tar.gz
Are there any news on this project, is it still alive or our hopes are lost? Is FWUL a viable option?
Sorry for the many questions and thanks in advance

As the above link sometimes seems to stop working (XDA wassup??) here a mirror: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=673956719939825345

EDIT:
20 downloads in 1 day. 0% clicked thanks. Can't believe that at least coming back to click on thanks is too much for you. I really understand why so many ppl decide to NOT help others if this one click is too much for you.
Ok I don't care. suck as much and often as you like but don't cry again if some day no one will be here to answer or help.

EDIT2:
Thanks for all those given a proper thanks click in the meantime!
Yea time goes by and JOdin is included since a long while even in FWUL ( https://bit.do/FWULatXDA ). Check it out

EDIT3:
AFH mirror added (see above)

EDIT: I have successfully flashed a modem with it(heimdall+jodin3) too so it works!

was able to install heimdall 1.4.1 on Mac 10.15.4 Catalina but can't locate the frontend GUI in Finder.
can anyone please help me download PIT file (with Terminal commands maybe)?

You have to find the .jar file and execute it! Cos the shell script doesn't work. As for the pit file, you have to google the pit file for your phone model, it's device-specific

You can always get the current PIT by running "heimdall print-pit > yourdevice.pit" (your device needs to be in download mode).
