Maybe a magisk problem.

But not a problem. Root it yourself.

Go to magisk manager. (make update if necessary)
1. Copy the boot.img to your internal storage.
2. In magisk manager Klick on install / choose only boot.img.
3. Find the boot.img on internal storage and apply.
4. After he patched it it's in download folder.
5. Copy it to desktop (patched_boot.img)
6. Rename it to only boot.img
7. Copy that to the eragon v2.5 ROM folder on desktop.
8. Turn off phone and use flashtools to flash only the boot.img. uncheck the rest.

That's all

Open Magisk app. Select install/update Magisk (the one on top). Select download and install Magisk. Reboot. You should be good to go.

Edit: if it prompts you to update the app, do it.

It seems like those who updated from 1.0 to 2.5 don't have a problem but the clean flashers of 2.5 have problems. I had this happen after coming from a treble ROM with a clean flash but it was fixed by doing what stated above.

Sometime when I make or receive a call the screen stay black and also pressing the on/off button don't wake up.

Any news about update or new pie 9 version?

Yes I'm still using it.
I don't know . My plan was to make a android 9 ROM. In the next days I will start with it and see how it goes...

Hey @skeleton1911,
Found this nice ROM! Uhm.. On the first Page you said, it's not working with the "normal" Version. Only Pro.. But Why? It's the Same phone, the Pro Version just have 64 GB Space 🤔 That's the only difference. Should I try it?

If you know flashtools. And you can go back to your stock ROM. Then yes, give it a try.

I know I didn't cook this ROM forward a long time , I hope to find time soon. Holiday/ vacation is coming in the next week's :)

    How to Install the Rom
    1.install MTK Drivers
    2.install SP FLashtools
    3.extract the donwloaded rom zip on to desktop
    3.Turn off the Phone
    4 configurate flashtools and flash the Rom

    IF YOU ARE COMING FROM STOCK ROM A FULLWIPE IS REQUIRED: MEANS MARK USERDATA IN FLASHTOOLS.

    -a Flashable Rom via TWRP will come in next release (due to my time)

    -Rom has TWRP and is Rooted and Deencrypted by Default. you dont need to do something
    -Phone will reboot one time after google setup . thats related to the stock download manager for Fota /OTA.etc

    please read changelog.

    took me many many hours, builded again from scratch, from latest Stock update

    also if you are coming from stock rom please perform a Fullwipe. (Mark userdata in flashtools)
    thats related to the removed encryption for TWRP.

    if you are on v1.0 you can dirty flash it . ( unmark userdata in Flashtools)
    BUT, if you notice an issue please make a fullwipe and look if the issue is still there.

    i always test my roms with a fullwipe.


    IN VERSION 3.0 WILL BE MANY MORE TWEAKS AND MODS ( in the future)
