I didn't see it posted in the thread, so I wanted to share my relief:
Skvalex's call recorder does work properly on the Pixel 3a, the google-purchased, unlocked version. Root is nice and clear.

Thanks for keeping up with this great app! It's very handy.

You need to have root or you may try to change CSC code to use system recorder method.

Get root. Then install magisk module.

Yeah I tried that and it didn't work. Just keep getting a warning that it can't record.

CallRecorder breaks Google Voice. Whenever I'm on a GVoice call, CallRecorder kicks in and attempts to record the call, then the other party cannot hear me. If I stop the recording, my mic works again.

OG Pixel on Android 9. How do I fix this? Or stop it from attempting to record GVoice?

You need to set call recorder to not record automatically. Any wifi calling will do the same thing. Just press the button when you want to record a call. I have an og pixel on project fi and that's the only way it works. If I have a wifi call it mutes my mic.

Has anyone figured out a config that works on Android Pie without root? After years of using the app, I'm tired of rooting phones and missing updates and would rather stay stock

Thanks in advance
