Thanks but, not the case here. Root allowed in settings and in my root manager.

Hi Sr. Zé Alguém, wellcome back in thread! It is long time I think...I am glad to see you here again :good:
Thanks for the compliments, I'm walking around here sporadically, mostly to get MiX apks to my collection, since I stopped updating my MiX due to lack of time for beta-testing (I've locked myself at v6.31.8_B19010640 which works perfectly for my needs).Hi Sr. Zé Alguém, wellcome back in thread! Then it seems the bug is MiX not detecting your root... Did you try newest .39 betas? Thanks but, not the case here. Root allowed in settings and in my root manager.

Nice to see Hootan is still working hard on MiX and community is helping a lot.

The problem should be concentrated on the highlighted command:Error trying to restore a system app:

Or, you could use/troubleshoot the latest beta and make a donation (done long ago) *and* purchase the silver Play Store version (which I just did). >>>>self-congratulatory pat on the back<<<< I undestand that not everyone is in a financial position to do this. Until recently there was no way I was spending money on anything but the necessities.Or you could appreciate the fact that you can get nearly all of that functionality from the XDA version and available add-ons.
Would you please send me a sample file with this problem? Thank you.Hi, I got one more issue after updating to version 6.39.0.
Some video thumbnails (mp4 format) show like nothing (please see the attached screenshots). One thing I remember is that those videos were trimmed with a video trimmer software I used on my computer (Solveig Video Splitter FYI).
I also added those video thumbnails showed in other explorer to confirm that there is no problem with those videos. I also cleared the cache and even uninstalled and reinstated Mixplorer, but this issue is still there.
Please look at this if you have time. Thank you and have a nice day!View attachment 4787598View attachment 4787599
You are right: for internal storage and SD cards. But if you choose cloud storage (webdav, OneDrive, GDrive. Etc,) only ZIP is available.
It is missing. As you wrote by yourself, different archives are only available for locale storage.Just to get it right: am I stupid (to be honest this is often the case :silly or is 7z missing for cloud archiving?

Maybe this option is on Hootan's list already.

?.. Cannot seem to reproduce.Minor issue in latest version, when renaming a file, clearing the previous filename to start with blank, any period entered in the filename is always followed by a space automatically. This is not the case when editing a name, just after it has been cleared. So any extension entered as such is preceded by a space and is invalid, and must be edited again... Thx

I know when renaming a file, the entry box will automatically add a space after a period. I would guess this is a little "helper" for when typing text/sms where an automatic space after a period is wanted. So I know to always delete the added space after entering a period. Lesson learned...

I haven't tested this theory, but, I would guess that either this "feature" is a part of android (and therefore may be dependent on which version you are running) or is a feature of the keyboard you are using. I have a very vague memory of seeing the option somewhere in my keyboard settings.
Yes, there's a setting for the included US keyboard to auto-space after punctuation, and turning it off stops this. Was hoping the dev could modify this behavior for the text entry box, as other keyboard settings, such as auto-spacing being off when entering an email address. It's just good practice to present the correct keyboard properties for the type of text being entered...@duh1@gdgsdg123
I was just going to mention the same thing. It's probably a keyboard setting. I get an automatic space after a period, if I'm swiping. But if I'm entering single letters I don't get a following space after punctuation. I also get auto-capitalization after a period followed by a space, although some of this seems to be modifiable by the app that you're typing in. So apps can override keyboard settings in at least some instances.
Would you please send me a sample file with this problem? Thank you.
Ok guys, thanks. I'm feeling lazy to search and read rn
Help me be my search engine one more time, any other recommended root file manager for a14?
Hello and good morning, @ledagiwMy guy, my savior. Thanks

Xda search is junk, can't search if not login (i browse on incognito), timeline is messed up
Also i didn't mean to offend anyone, since the burger isn't available
It's irrelevant why you don't want to follow the rules but if you don't it will eventually lead to consequences to your account. I'm convinced this is something you want to avoid.1. Search before posting.

The project is far from dead. HootanParsa regularly takes extended breaks from XDA, months at a time sometimes, but is brilliant with catching up with feature requests/bugs/etc. when they return. For the extent at which most users will use MiXplorer, everything still works great. Obviously there may be some niche issues and the odd request here and there but everything works more than fine, for the most partLooks like the project is dead.
I was about to buy it (support the project) untill I read when the last update was released.
Your post is no. #43,838. That's a strong indicator for the passion and long standing development and support from the developer - despite some breaks in between. You'll have difficulties to find another app having a longer history than MiXplorer. And of course, I cannot speak for the developer, but I'm quite sure, there will be updates in the future. So there are good reasons to support the developer now and in the future.Looks like the project is dead.

I've already replied to this exact post but doing so again, just for context.Looks like the project is dead.

You said "use an alternative" in your post.
Is there any possibility to open a different viewing app out of MiXExplorer instead of ImageViewer which would allow swiping through the whole folder?
If I click "open with" and choose Google Photos for example only the one picture opened opens in Google Photos and I cannot swipe through the whole folder like I can in ImageViewer.
