Right so I set up dsixda kitchen on windows using cygwin BUT when I try to use it after typing the command "bash menu" or "./menu" I get errors with y/n answers to skip after them. They are all about missing applications. The applications missing are 'clear', 'gcc', 'perl', 'wget' and 'cpio'.
If I choose to ignore these the kitchen starts up as normal but none of the actions work because of these missing applications.

Anyone had this issue before? Anyone know how to fix it?

Thanks in advance!

When you follow dsixda's guide to install kitchen, do as said but don't install cygwin from that guide.
Instead, download from official site, choose default options, but add these packages (it will be compliant with kitchen and give a little extra funcionality):
Devel: gcc, gdb, make
Interpreters: perl
Utils: cpio, util-linux, ncurses
Archive: zip, unzip
Web: wget
Editors: vi, nano

Hit thanks If i helped!!

Download and install those packages which the errors say are not installed.
I got an error that 'cpio is not installed, kitchen cannot work without the package'.
I installed the package, now the kitchen works perfectly.
