But if things are really that bad, do what RMS does - get them to e-mail you the page and open it up in a MUA that doesn't do pics/gifs etc...

Well, what alternative to Facebook Messenger do you have? Not Messenger Lite, because it lacks a few features that I kind of want.

Facebook is driven by ad revenue. There is no way they are going to facilitate blocking their ads in their apps.

I did not. Systemless hosts has been enabled the entire time. That was also one of the first things I tried like I posted before.

I guess I need to take more deeper verbose CatLogs...?

Did you enable the systemless hosts module in Magisk Manager settings, by clicking on it and then rebooting?

No, because as he says, you enable it through magisk settings. It's built-in.

Read the instructions that you were provided within @martyfender's previous response.

From within Magisk Manager settings, enable Systemless Host from there;

MM{Hamburger menu > Settings } > scrolling down and press/enable Systemless Host.
