Don't worry, it took me only 5 minutes to find it because someone had already complained about the same issue in the Oneplus X forums a couple of years ago. The cause was a mismerge after applying some security patches in the kernel. It looks like I made the same mistake so I just have to fix a couple of lines of code and the panic should be gone

Nice finding. I only understood the kernel panic line of that log I uploaded.

Could you enable signature spoofing so it does work with microG out of the box? I used nanodroid patcher and it did work, but I think it's a bit slow when multitaksing (changing apps). Not sure if there's a difference if it's patched already or if it's already written to the ROM itself.
In case you're up to do so, there's guide teaching how to.

Thanks!

Thanks!
Sure, it was enabled in my previous set of builds but I still haven't implemented in the new ones. The next build will support signature spoofing as well :)

I got another episode of that frozen phone problem, but now it happened while I was using it. Also, I was able to see it with adb and get some logs. Is there anything useful in them?
It looks like you have the Banggood app installed, and it went crazy and started hogging 100% of the CPU. This lead to several system crashes and errors. I can't tell if this is the real cause of the problem but it surely is the only thing we can suspect. Try uninstalling it and see if these freezes happen again.

The new build is ready but the 3-finger swipe-to-screenshot gesture is broken and makes the Settings app crash. Therefore, I'll have to remove it and build again, then I'll release the update. I'll try to reimplement and fix that feature later on.

Thank you so much for trying to implement the 3 finger swipe thingy!

New update available

The new update is out :)
It features:
In addition, the kernel comes with a new & updated default hotplug and CPU governor. This combination seems to improve overheating without any performance impact. Let me know if you think battery life is any better (or worse)!

Are you going to release this kernel separately?
Yes, but it's not my priority right now. You'll have to wait a little more.

OTA didt'n works. Thx for update our beloved Bacon.
I know. Yesterday I couldn't use my home Internet connection so I had to upload the zip on Mega using my phone's mobile data. To send an update to you in the OTA updater, I must upload the zip on AFH as well (AFH gives me a direct link to the zip, which is needed for the OTA updater to work, while Mega does not give a direct link). Unfortunately, AFH is very unreliable and sometimes requires me to upload a zip 2 or 3 times before accepting it. I simply didn't want to waste too much of my monthly data, so I uploaded the zip on Mega only. Later I'll put it on AFH and enable OTA updates for the users who haven't updated manually yet :)

EDIT: now the update should be available via OTA as well.

Miracast - OK

The new update is out :)

I checked this ROM in July and there was no success.
Miracast now works correctly. :good:

Is it possible for the position of the Advanced Restart menu to rotate with the screen rotation?
Currently it is still glued to the right edge of the screen even during rotation. Only the fields themselves rotate.

It might be possible but I have no idea how to do it.

Thanks a lot Tomoms! This is one of the best roms I've tried in Opo in five years. It's performing like when I just bought it.

Update about the screenshot gesture: it still doesn't work and I think it needs more work (porting some custom java classes and stuff and adapting them to LineageOS). For now, I think it's not worth the effort. Anyway, I'm sure there are some alternative ways (i.e. third-party apps) to take a screenshot if your physical buttons aren't working well.

A new build will come in a few days, with an updated kernel and a couple of cool features!

No problem, thank you for trying at least.
This rom works too well for me to be mad at it anyway
Just another question (sorry to bother so much) would it be hard to add a screenshot tile to quicksettings? That would be a decent enough way to replace the 3 finger gesture without using a 3rd party app if you think it's too much time consuming
I'll just try to find a way to screenshot without power buttons

This should be way easier. I'll try that soon!

A new update is available!
It brings some code updates and improvements, plus some adjustments for our WiFi that could improve performance and throughput. However, we need to check if battery life is affected negatively or not. Let me know if you feel that battery life is worse in this build, or not.
The screenshot tile is not present. I've implemented it, but it's simply not showing up. I have no idea why...
I hope to get it to work in the next update.
Soon via OTA as well. As usual I'm having problems with file hosting websites.

In this thread I'll share with you my personal builds of LineageOS 18.1 for the Oneplus One codename: bacon (older builds of 17.1, 16 and 15.1 are still downloadable). This project is inspired by idprophecy's LineageOS builds, to which I want to add my favorite features and, possibly, even more optimizations and improvements.

    MAIN FEATURES
    LineageOS 18.1 features:

Unified download link for both 17.1 and 18.1: SourceForge

Previous 17.1 builds are available either on AFH or on MEGA (17.1) / on MEGA (18.1).

    A BIG "THANK YOU" TO
the whole LineageOS team, and the multitude of great developers of the Android custom ROM scene, such as kdrag0n, kerneltoast (Sultanxda), nathanchance, flar2, franciscofranco, frap129, the MSM-Xtended project, the crDroid project. I hope I have not forgotten anyone.
    23
I'm happy and proud to announce that I am now an official LineageOS maintainer for our Oneplus One!
    23
Hello! My first LineageOS 16 build works fine and even Argon kernel is working fine :)
However, the ROM is not ready for you to use it, especially because I have to improve the kernel's implementation (currently it's very buggy and a normal user would go crazy to make it work properly). So I will not release this build, however I think that within a few days I'll get this stuff sorted and a new build will be ready!

    POST-INSTALLATION ADVICE

    GAPPS COMPATIBILITY

    Only use MindTheGapps.

    SETTING UP MICROG
Signature spoofing is supported but not enabled out of the box. There's no switch to enable it in Settings, you must grant its permission to each app that needs it. In particular, if you install MicroG (either via the apks or via MinMicroG), you must run these commands in a root shell:
    Code:
    pm grant com.google.android.gms android.permission.FAKE_PACKAGE_SIGNATURE
    pm grant com.android.vending android.permission.FAKE_PACKAGE_SIGNATURE
then make sure all the checkboxes in MicroG's status screen are ticked and reboot.

    SETTING UP VIPER4ANDROID
If you follow these steps carefully, you'll manage to install Viper4Android while keeping Enforcing SELinux, and it will survive across ROM updates too :)
Since XDA Labs has been dead for a while, I've reuploaded Viper4Android's apk installer here: https://mega.nz/file/htFikD6Y#HpcdSMSa6fPdB5EXhGnyYI4uoxA7R4TnzhAZD_J_jrk

    PASSING SAFETYNET
Passing SafetyNet is quite easy. You need to have Gapps installed, though. Flash Magisk, enable Magisk Hide in its settings, reboot. Now you should pass SafetyNet.

    GRABBING LOGS
If you have faced an issue, please provide logs when reporting it.
If the issue involved a random reboot of the device -> let the phone boot up again and immediately grab a copy of /proc/last_kmsg (important: don't turn off or reboot the phone a second time, otherwise it'll be useless).
If the issue did not involve a random reboot of the device, but instead some "softer" crash (e.g. an app crashing, a SystemUI restart...) -> grab a logcat using any app such as Logcat Reader or plug the phone to a computer and pull it using the adb logcat > logfile.txt command.
    19
    Hello guys,
I'd like to inform you that I plan to switch to LineageOS 16 soon. I'll start by using TugaPower, to get used to the new OS and to finish setting up my building environment (I have to pull some files from LineageOS 16 before I can start building my own releases). Then I'll start sharing my own builds. Since it'll take me a while to implement in LineageOS 16 all the features and the optimizations that I've added to my 15.1 builds, the first LineageOS 16 builds will be very close to the standard LineageOS ones, but I'll gradually get to the point I've reached with Oreo.
I might build and upload one last 15.1 build in the next days.
    I'll keep you informed :)
