I assume you are talking about official xda app / xda labs. So yeah this is a known API limitation. https://github.com/Wood-Man/XDA-Labs...ions/issues/39

Backend API and probably the app itself would need a fix indeed but along with a lot of other bugs. Just a matter of priority and also ressource/time on xda's end.
