wifi connected well but can`t reach the internet

great work!
my weired problem:
wifi connected well , but can not connnect to the internet.
nether the 0212 or 0114 firmware can make it works.
but it works well under the official firm.
my device : Galaxy tab 8.4/SM-T320 CHN

i finally find out
that i can open the browser and surfing internet well
it`s just lineage`s bug
because it test wifi connect by ping google server
but in china we have the evil GFW

Great rom it revitalized my tab 320.
I still face big battery drain, I read several post suggesting to change permissions to netmrg I tried from recovery and from root explorer but I cannot access the folder from recovery and from different root explorers I cannot anyway change the permissions. Is there a step by guide?

T325: I encounter sudden reboots when using it just once every 24h or even less.
Not sure yet what it's caused by.
Battery few days ago at 29% and today at 66%.
Wiping cache/Dalvik didn't help.
Will try to log that.

In recovery using TWRP you need to mount the system partition to access netmgr.

Help please

Hi,
I'm kind of new to the forum and installing custom ROM OS to tablets. I was wondering if you have posted a youtube video on how to install a custom ROM like lineageos for beginners.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and I would like to install the lineageos 17.1 but this would be my first time unlocking and flashing a tablet.

If you want to check firmware - please make backup. Better to store all partitions, at least efs and may be modem.

Instructions
1. Install custom recovery
2. Download the zip(s) - firmware and Google Apps additional package (optional)
3. Backup all partitions (it least efs) and store somewhere - it need to do - because you can loose imei
4. Full wipe all
5. Flash firmware and gapps

Need some help please

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 SMT320. I already root my tablet and installed the official TWRP App. I only know how to Install Lineage OS On Any Android Device by installing ROM Zip File and Gapps. I don't know what to do with somemany zip files under "Sources" (sources, device, kernel, vendor). Can someone help me out? I'm still new to installing custom ROMs. Thanks!

- Google Play services keeps stopping
- android.process.media keeps stoping

Is it because I did something wrong during the flashing process? I would appreciate it if someone can help me fix these errors. This is the first time I flash a custom ROM.

Gapps says there are some known issues with pico, nano, micro ... builds at the moment. You might want to try BiTGApps instead.

That's most likely the netmgr issue that's been discussed previously. Change its permissions to 644 corrects the problem.

Hat's off for Valera!

The installation was flawless. Aside from the battery drain caveat, all works well except Trebuchet launcher keeps crashing and switching to G Pixel (the latter works fine). Tried 16 and Trbuchet works fine there.
Curious if anyone in this latest rom has Trebuchet working? So can sort out if this is rom or my setup (installed by the book - full wipe, rom, gapps, magisk).

Mine is working, haven't tried any other launchers. Used BitGApps instead of gapps.

Seemingly it's netmrgd and it's in /system/vendor/bin
Haven't checked it though!

Go to TWRP, mount System
Go to advanced, File manager search System / System / Vendor / bin select netmrgd than select chmod and than change to 0644 .
Go back to wipe advanced wipe , wipe cache and than reboot,

This fix the battery drain for the SM- T320 only.

When I switch USB connection to "File transfer" the tablet restarts. Is this a known issue?

To answer my self, this is a problem when you are not rooted. After installing Magisk the "File transfer" via USB is possble.
