26% overnight in 9 hours
Hi guys,

OP6T here....last update OOS 10.3.4, all stock except root/magisk.

No data, no location , only WiFi, 26 % in 9 hours overnight + sync.

Can someone check attached logs? dmesg shows "Bad system call".

Thanks in advance.

End of the month approaching i.e. it became to take the usual BBS dump. Just wanted to share; nothing to comment or complain about. I'm happy with the system behaviour.

Note 10 plus, no root. BBS not showing anything, on refresh it just warns: Selected "from" or "to" reference could not be loaded. Please refresh.
Any idea to fix it? I have paid money and got not working app, too upset

Is it normal to have a much higher battery drain and a ton of wakelocks with mobile data active?
  • Mobile data enabled (connected to WiFi - internet is working):
  • Since 7 h 40 m 50 s
  • Level lost [%]: Bat.: -19%(98% to 79%) [2,5%/h]
  • Mobile data disabled (connected to WiFi - internet is working):
  • Since 9 h 55 m 12 s
  • Level lost [%]: Bat.: -4%(94% to 90%) [0,4%/h]

Here is what I mean by "Mobile data disabled":
To my understanding, the radio on itself is enabled since "LTE" is being shown in the Mobile Data tile in the drawer.
Mobile data is disabled by disabling "Mobile data always active" in developer options.

Similar good battery drain result is achieved by actually switching off the radio by clicking on the mobile data tile.
Then the status in the Mobile Data tile is changed to "Off".

When on WiFi, why would you want to use your mobile data? The normal behavior is that the LTE icon hours away when on WiFi since your not using mobile data anymore. Playing with that setting in developer options will change normal functions and could easily be the cause for more wakelocks.
If you have some reason for having to do that, you will probably have to live with the extra drain.
Best answer is to stop doing that.

It's not only in the developer settings, but also a connectivity setting named download boost to check, that'll aggregate both LTE and WiFi in case of downloading something that's more than 20 Mb if i recall well, but forces to have data enabled all the time too.
