While testing tagger I was able to change text values in a tag but something odd happened with thumbnails. That might or might not relate to your issue but it would help to know specifically what you trying to do and what did not work properly as well as the details of the file and the device.
Here is what happened when I was testing. Placed a test MP3 file in a test folder which also contained a WAV file and an image file. Somewhere along the way the image file became the thumbnail for both the MP3 file and the WAV file. Those thumbnails persists even after the image file is removed from the folder, which is not so odd of itself but, that the same (now not present) image becomes the thumbnail for any files copied to the folder. This may not relate to the Tagger but could be an issue with MiXplorer thumbnails. That the image file was was a picture of a toilet flush handle in need of repair, in addition to being absolutely hilarious, is something I'd rather prevent from propagating through my MP3 collection. The files in the collection have the appropriate generic MP3 icon and this is why using a separate test folder is prudent.
To see if this was caused by the tagger I'll create a new folder and tests with different files, maybe using a picture of a different toilet
. Depending on what happens in new folder I may or may not take test to different Android version.
