Lets see... Since I dont see you posting this in any other devs, thread, I'll just call you a troll.

so troll.
How can we post a source for that of which we dont have?
Do you see a JK2 Source anywhere on the net? Nope. Why, because it's not out yet. The only thing we modified kernel wise ANYONE can do by grabbing the rom, or even the ODIN image Eugene posted, and doing the work there.
There's no source modifications to post because there isn't a source.
So please, take your trolling somewhere else.
kthxbye

Previous posts gave the impression you had leaked modified kernel source in your possession. And you were choosing not to share it out of fear of someone "stealing it." Which isn't how GPL works.

What previous posts are you talking about? No one on our team has stated or implied we have such source code.

Nonetheless, WE DO NOT HAVE ANY LEAKED SOURCE CODE. Believe me, if we did, we would:

1. post the code (so people like you do not accuse us of such)
2. be taking advantage of this supposed leaked source code and heavily modifying the kernel. Things such as OC, UV, etc.

ok, so now that THAT is over with...I'll ask again. Is there a way to fix the SD mount problem within recovery on obsidian v1? I want to nandroid before flashing v2 and I cannot do that because of the bug. thanks.

Yes. that was the biggest part of lag in v1. Even with it off, it would through errors in the background.

Was just wondering if there is any intentions on fixing the wifi calling app and adding it to future updates? I really did enjoy using this since my service at my house blows. Hopefully there's something you guys can do. Thanks for all the great work!

There is a file located in the /bin directory.

/bin/sombionixInit

Pull that out, reboot, then try it. Also, so you know, mounting never worked within recovery, its a clockwork issue, not rom related.

I can't, I've tested it. I even had designgears test it. No problems at all.
yea thats what I thought its sad cuz its very crucial to me and it seems some others also had the same problem. ( and others who have been using macnut..) mentioned same problem but eugene could not reproduce it .. he thinks it might be some batch of vibrants that have that problem with Froyo ROMS, maybe i ll try the stock ODIN 2.2 that eugene posted but i doubt it will work since your rom is very close to it anyway :(

love the stock launcher, but I must be half baked, I cant figure out how to change the shortcuts!

It's like a mix between adw and the stock launcher. You can remove the icons on the bar at the bottom just like you would on the screen, then you can drag another icon there.

I really don't see why you wouldn't just use ADW but hey good to have choices I guess. Except I have no wi-fi calling anymore :(

I can't load the new V2, tried Rom Manager Clockwork, didn't work can't get past the recovery screen. Clicked on reinstall packages 4,5 times can't get into clockwork recovery. Tried reinstalling rom manager, no good. Even tried a factory reset.. still no good.

Anybody know a way to load the new V2? if so, please explain in detail.

Thanks in advance.

thanks, trying now. as for not rom related, then why did I not have this problem until installing v1? also, i thought a few pages back you said it was a typo in a script that you fixed in v2?

edit: just to make sure we are clear, my problem is that I cannot mount my SD to flash zips or nandroid from within CW. but, I CAN get to CW recovery

Well what is the benefit of Wifi calling? According to what I understood it still used your minutes, am I still half baked?

Beta 3 is the most stable build yet. Technically, it should be out of beta, but I still have a couple more modifications to throw in. You won't have any problems with this build. PLEASE run this rom as is and report bugs. DO NOT flash this and then flash other kernels or modifications and then post bugs because we'll have no idea if its the rom or the other kernels or mods you've installed causing the problem.

    Nero Beta 3:
    - Updated Market
    - Updated VoiceSearch
    - Fixed blurry mms issue
    - Mounting issue fixed (hopefully)
    - Added multiple lock screens and Power menu options (HUGE thanks to Jocelyn for her contribution!)
    - New shutdown sound
    - New livewallpaper
    - New status icons
    - init script edits for a little extra speed (still tweaking to get it just right)
    - Framework edits

Please check out our forum for tons of extras, and don't forget to visit us in our IRC for any help you may need, we're happy to assist.

    Nero Beta 2:
    - Full JL1 base with our modifications of course
    - Heavily modified to look and feel like the nexus s (gingerbread)
    - Fixed the black text on black submenu issue. its not white text on black as it should be.
    - Modified init scripts for added speed
    - Updated Maps
    - Updated Gmail
    - Updated YouTube
    - Additional Framework edits
    - New Bootanimation

I replaced the background of the stock Nexus LWP to the background of the gingerbread Nexus LWP made by the3dman. It completes the gingerbread look  Clockwork flashable zip included.

Thanks for the tip. But are you sure resetting the battery stats after flashing a new ROM won't mess up the battery life in any manner? Wanna be sure about this before I start doing this.

when you flash a new rom, it alters the current battery reading, in other
words, it doesn't read it correctly. that's why you have to reset battery
stats to have a correct info through the rom.. resetting the stats doesn't
ruin your battery's life. it simply corrects the reading. Thus reconditioning
your battery brings more life to your battery and is healthy to do twice in
    a month...

here's how to correctly recondition/reset your battery stats:

    1. make sure you drain the battery completely to the point when it shutdowns
    by itself.
    2. charge it without turning it on for about 4-6 hours.
    3. after you've done that, go to cw by the key combinations (leaving the connection plugged in)
    4. reinstall packages, go to advance, reset battery stats,
    5. reboot
    6. wait for it to finish scanning media then unplug.
    7. reboot one more time.

p.s. cheers to TW for this lightning fast rom :)
