How does one install data2ext? Maybe Richard could introduce it into 6.2?

Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App

Ext2, Ext3, Ext4
Hi all,

I'm a bit confused about the file system for apps2sd+.
It seems that mostly ext3 is recommended, but as a journaling file system, it would reduce the lifetime of the sd card. So wouldn't be ext2 the better one then? Or are there any other advantages of ext3? And what about ext4? Wouldn't this be even better than ext3 if the journaling is not a problem?
For the moment I think ext2 would be the best choice, please let me know if I'm right or completely wrong and which one is the best for DeFrost.

Thanks very much

What does the wifi module do, exactly? It's not entirely clear to me... :/

no need to go to ext4 when ext3 has everything you need. I use 3 because im not worried about the life of my sdcard (im sure it's not that big a deal)

DeFrost vs CyanogenMod kernel
Hi Richard.

I was wondering... what are the differences between the CyanogenMod kernel and the DeFrost kernel you maintain? Are the differences mainly in the configuration/optimisation?

In advance, thanks.

Regards,
