Hey SetiroN,

I don't know if you've seen this or if it helps any...

DG is reporting that his upcoming v3 kernel will fix the "charging death and usb removal freeze". He is saying the fix is something about "Disabling BFQ".

Personally I've never had these issues, but it would benefit the "masses". Something to think about for the next update once you are up and running again.

- lowered default freq to 1000MHz
- updated ram disk to late 1.4.x versions
- improved wi-fi performance
- fixed internal SD mount as CD-ROM on JPU

Just flashed 1.5.5
There was no boot animation(weired), GT-i9000 -> Black Screen -> Lock Screen
Then frozen after that... the freeze problem exists with other 1.5 variants

Since I've never flashed a kernel using Odin before I just want to confirm I put the kernel in th PDA box and leave everything else default?

Yes, that's correct, extract the tar file from the 7z package.
And double check you did not check the "repartition" box.
