It seems to me that you're using a normal USB hub to connect to and are powering that hub with the HTC charger. I don't think that's the way it is supposed to be done, as MarysFetus said. Make sure that the D+ and D- wires (inside cable) are not connected to the part that connects to outlet. That will cause problems.

@neitin: You're plugging both the cardreader and the phone into the outlet. That doesn't do any good (there's no data wires that from one to the other). You have to plug them into eachother, then use the outlet to provide power (the power wiring is hared across all three ends of the Y-cable).

In fact, the short cable that the cardreader is on probably doesn't even have data pins, much less wires; it's *just* for power. Plug that end into the outlet.

Thanks GoodDayToDie for the quick reply, I plugged it to PC and now downgrade has started. Thanks for your help. :)

Try to shut it down first, then press volumedown+camera+power .

If it still doesn't work, then check if your bootloader is broken by entering spl screen. If it is, ask for further instructions.

hm... i held the buttons just now for about 1 minute and nothing.. it just displays that screen.. any other suggestions?

guys look at the first picture.. that's a bricked bootloader.. now look at the second.. that's a halfbricked bootloader.. what's the difference you ask? the difference is that on the halfbricked you can enter usb host mode.. how did i fix it? i send a cab that contained an update to bootloader v5.12 (mine was 4.65) and it worked! now i can try the method in the first post :)

I have downloaded the update 2250.21.51201.401 but when I install all cabs with cab sender I get the error 80180048 and then I need to restore my phone to the last backup... I have searched and could not find a solution. I have a HTC Surround.

Thank You
