Has anyone added a Corporate email account with v6?
Mine worked in v2, but since then I can't get it to work. It doesn't add itself as an admin to the device (which I think it used to do) and simply doesn't sync at all.
Should I reflash, or is this simply broken in this version?

I too I'm interested in this 'casue, adding new entreprise account seems nothing to happen.

I started to get "com.Google.process.gapps" fc
So.I've rebooted and wiped cache and dalvik. (While charger connected)
Rebooted,
And now I get lot of laggs and same fc, plus Swype beta and messaging fc...

I flashed the Rom with full wipe, restored only some apps with tb...

Idea?

If you format system before flashing a corrupted ROM.zip, you'll go back to GB because you won't have a system working. I also have flashed ROMs more hundred times, but never formatted /system before.

Why you couldn't just flash kernel with Odin (assuming problem is a lost recovery) and flash correct Rom (mount in CWM and transfer files to phone)? Just asking if I'm missing something

And I'd say that it's very rare that zip could be corrupted and still
flashable..But possible of course.

This discussion does not belong here, but most ROMs have the following type of line in their install script. Any idea what that would do ? :fingers-crossed:

Code:
format("yaffs2", "MTD", "system", "0", "/system");

[/sarcasm]

Yeah script does that..But he meant in the case of incomplete flash (corrupted zip).

But enough off-topic..flashed v6 yesterday and everything seems to running great. No lags, just minor hiccups here and there, but nothing to complain about :p
Only one thing I noticed..Google play music sometimes (but not always I think) FC after booting..But it seems to function correctly. So that's also a minor thing :) thanks DerTeufel

the H symbol represent HSDPA (which is as known: the next generation of 3g known as "3.5g" or "3g+")
basically it means more transfer + download speed thats all.
i had H since i got my device (im from israel) si i dont know if its the networking or not but changing modems wont change the symbol :)
-------------------------------------------------------------

on topic:
everytime i turn on my cell or after a reboot once the home screen comes up i get the error: system stopped working, but if i wait it does start working, just mentioning it encase there is something too look at for what is the reason for it

I almost flashed to v6 last night, however, it's kinda weird that my modem has always been the same since my ICS days, but after letting v5 settle down, my JVU modem seemed to serve me better. I mean, I now have an easy time sending/receiving SMS, as well as making/accepting calls, in areas where I don't usually have a signal. I don't know.. But, that is really keeping me from flashing v6 as of the moment. Also, I still haven't experienced any lag whatsoever. Since the updates come quickly, I guess we all forgot to let the ROM settle down a bit longer. Well, I guess to each his own.. But I am very, very happy with v5 as of the moment. Perhaps, I'll flash again when there are "major" changes to the ROM. Great job, DerTeufel! Everything's at an intense pace and phase. Keep going! ^.~

(Btw, the post icon I used.. I am not angry.. Just wanted to use the icon to depict the OP's Kernel.. hehehe

So soon? Guess datadata isn't such a good idea... I I'm only one day with the phone, same apps as always. Data fix on in devil config.

If it'll happen again,I'll move too cm10 and see if it will happen there too

I run cm10 with devil version no datadata and i must say it runs good.
I notice slowdown when install stuff from playstore, and when i restore my sms from backup.

When ICS for my tf101 was out we solved this problem of hosting/ mirrors overload/ down with torrents. It worked great.

if it's ok with derteufel, i can leave my torrent to seed wtihout limit

if you flash v6, and there's a change of modem, you can always flash jvu modem in cwm

if you have it backed up, try with restore, then update
also, have you changed dpi?

long-press back key to kill app, will it be there soon? Everything else seems to be working flawlessly.

just tested in v6, and it works, you need to activate it in developer options

Ah, yes, that is true. But what I am trying to say is, I have always used JVU. But this time, reception appears to be waaaay better. I was actually surprised by it. I had JVU for different ICS ROMs and some other JB ROMs, and the performance was the same. However, from v5, the results were simply unexpected (thinking the modem wasn't replaced). I dunno.. But, again, I can't say this is placebo, because at home, I usually don't have network coverage (very weak signals) when I am locked inside my room. When I flashed v5, I can just stay all day in my room without worrying too much about missing some messages/calls. ^.~

Since official CM10 alpha got released today, I don't think, that there still is a need to update this rom. Going back to normal kernel business.

uploading V2 right now to http://devil.haxer.org/jellybean/ as well as to http://rootaxbox.no-ip.org/divers/jellybean/

because of my upload speed, this is going to take about 1 hours...

    - replaced ear.apk with one supposed to work (user report)
    - replaced hw composer with the one from nexus s (this is the jb one, old release was using ics hw composer)
    - fixed recording of 720p (upstream fix to media_profiles.xml

    install instructions:
    - wipe (coming from previous version, you also can try flashing without wipe, and wipe only, if you are facing issues)

kernel 1.7.4 is online now :)

i'll try to summerize the changes quickly...have to sleep:

    - latest linux 3.0.46
    - latest changes from android kernel source
    - low mem killer changes from steve kondik (cyanogen)
    - updateted recovery to latest version
    - fixed charging issues
    - vibrator intensity changes from cm team
    - dynamical fsync by faux123:
The dynamic sync control interface uses Android kernel's unique early
    suspend / lat resume interface.

While screen is on, file sync is disabled
when screen is off, a file sync is called to flush all outstanding writes
and restore file sync operation as normal.

There was non working WiFi on Fishears 10/10 built too, maybe it just wasn't the good time to build.
    http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1896472&page=45

Had to clean my build folder. Wifi working now, after clean rebuild. I am trying to fix the other small issues, and upload the fixed version tomorrow morning... Compiling clean is taking many hours on my old computer...
