i've been using this build 10 and baseband 70 (on Neo V) for a half of day....
and i just can say .... its.....smooth,fast,stable and without hang/reboot/freeze...

wifi,data,face unlock,gps work great....

thanks man......

Did someone try apps2sd with this rom? I just bought a bigger SD card and hope that it will work on ICS...

Nice ROM. I noticed a few things:

- Brightness Bug is still there in this version. You still have to install "Disable Auto Brightness Xperia" from Play to fix it. For some reason, the bug isn't there in krabappel2548's KA15 ROM.
- Live Wallpapers are disabled.
- Many Widgets gone (Power Control being the most important one)
- No Controls when notification bar is pulled down (wifi / data / etc buttons)


But despite of that, it runs very smooth and fast. Keep up the good work!

i am comming from stock rom .42 unblocked bootloader

and i flash baseband 70
then flash NightElf ICS kernel RC2
wiped data and cash ...
flashed rom
then i have reboot after Xperia logo

i try baceband 64 ... nothing changed

any help ??

Okay, try to change the steps.

kernel > baseband > rom
or
rom > baseband > kernel

Please report back, need to make this one working.

Note: I already tried the baseband, and it works for me.

Also, guys, how is the new framework?

Framework is lovely, including trebuchet was a good idea and the asop lockscreen.
Just need to work out a sound system now, although the ics default is far greater than stock gb.

Here are the original sound from Nexus S AOKP. Not a flashable zip. Extract it & replace the one in your media folder.

i tried all chances
kernel > baceband 70/64 > rom
baceband 70/64 > kernel > rom

and fully wipe before/after flash rom

i will try rom > baseband > kernel
tonight after 10 h ... ;)

Maybe try this, first flash stock ICS, and then flash kernel and rom ;), I didn't try this combination cause I don't have time for now, but I think It's gonna work ;).

I had the same problem, the phone was rebooting.
The problem was avoided this way:
1. flash baseband
2. flash NightElf kernel (RC2)
3. flash ROM
4. started the phone and made the initial configuration
5. rebooted in recovery and applied the 2 patches.

Try fix permissions on cwm xD.


----- Baseband 70 -> rom -> kernel -> wipe all -> fix permissions

    Solution for neo user

    Thanks to igogold for detecting this issue

    Some neo user may having issue installing the rom, something like this;

    Code: 
    "Error opening system/usr/ICU/ICUDT461.DAT"

    Thanks to igogold for detecting/realize this as he mention here; that due to the size of the rom, around 312Mb on system partition, was too large for neo phone, which have only 312Mb system partition.

    Solution
    An easy way is to get the trimmed version by igogold, please refer to his post here.

    The rom need to be trim/slim so it will fit neo system partition. Keep another copy of the rom in a safe place (backup). Refer to the list below, delete those apk files from the rom. Then u can proceed with the installation.

    Instructions:
    - unlock your bootloader
    - baseband 72 (recomended)

    - reboot into phone (must boot into phone at least once, if u flash update directly, it will cause bootloop)
    - you may see error on the first boot, just ignore it
    - do not set account yet
    - reboot again into recovery, flash update (u can find it in -=I-Scream_12xs=- folder on your sd card)
    - also flash neo patch for neo user
    - reboot into phone, enjoy

    - extract it (do not flash it directly)
    - flash the kernel provided
    - reboot into recovery
    - do a full backup (always do this before flashing anything)
    - do a full wipe (if you don't do this, don't post if u are having any issue)
    - flash the rom
    - flash I-Scream_restore_vdd_level.zip
    - reboot into phone
    if you flash the update directly it will cause bootloop
    - set the time & the brightness to half
    - reboot into recovery, flash update
