Yes for the most part. I am using them on a i9505 based firmware rom (mk8 firmware) without issue. Some things may still need to be changed/updated as much changed from the first 4.3 rom I made compatible to the newest 4.3 roms. Make a nandroid and give it a shot. If enough users want to use the themes I will update further soon.

It works for the most part. But quite a bit must of changed in the apps. I will work on it sometime this week. It may take a couple weeks to get all the colors supported though. I will probably start with the Red then Blue. Hopefully it will be sooner though. Go back to work tomorrow so I should be able to get a start on them. Plus I am finishing up my Red Theme for the Galaxy Gear as well.

Ok RockRatt I'm working on updating to kit kat just had some things to do lately so think by the weekend I'll have updated to KitKat and just let me know and I can do some testing. There's one thing I want you to add to the blue theme I think is in the red theme cause I run the red them then on top the Ironman theme but the message boxes are semi transparent. It's bubble style 5. Thanks RockRatt

If anyone is up for testing a red theme zip for me please let me know.
I need one person still running 4.3 or older ROM and another person running 4.4.2
The vr theme zip has a firmware check to see whether your running 4.4 or 4.3 or older. DroidMissionary set up the flashable vr theme zip for this so give him a BIG THANKS.
The plan is to post one theme fits all firmware versions. So please let me know. Thanks

Red theme installed and booted on both versions sir! I don't recall seeing the lockscreen wallpaper changed in the 4.4 version, assuming you haven't added that one yet?

Which lock screen wallpaper was it? If you can take a screenshot. I thought I remembered changing it. I think it was in the priv-app/keyguard.apk
Was it the black background with small holes and says ANDROID across it? This one shows on mine running ShoStock 4.4.2
I grabbed it from inside the 4.3 theme if I remember correctly.

Hey Rock, just a heads up on that script. You only had files in the system folder, the data folder was empty and not included in the original script I don't believe. If you end up putting anything in there I can edit it to extract the data folder as well and send it over unless you handle it yourself. Referring to the system and data folders on the root of the zip. Not inside the vr theme folder itself

I did not include anything in the data folders for either version. I have a few modified .apks that I missed from the playstore and made them system apps.

I built it off of ShoStocks Roms. I think only once did the text box change in one of his Roms. So hopefully this will cover everybody. But IF anyone does have one text on one white background/black text on black background, then I think I still have the fixes in the OP.

ALSO: I will work on the Dark Blue theme next. Then go from there depending on what others would want as far as the theme colors I have already done. The Ironman Theme should be pretty easy to fix IP as well.
Thanks for testing both of you. I will add it to the OP later tonight as the official release of 4.3+older/4.4.2 Version 1.0

Are you going to be able to add those light transparent message boxes for the regular message app for the other theme's it's currently on this new them as well

Yes. Shouldn't be a problem. Basically if ShoStock is using a text message with black text then I would have to use a light background. So I will make sure it uses what is necessary to be able to see the text inside the box.

OP UPDATED WITH RED VR THEME VERSION 2.0 which is for KK 4.4.2/JB 4.3 and Older. It uses a script to check which Firmware you are running and will flash the appropriate version for your setup. Give a THANKS to DroidMissionary for editing the script to make this possible.

(For those that downloaded the test version no need to redownload. It is the same exact version just renamed.)

    These are themes I made for when I was using the Galaxy S3 (RockRatts BadAss Themes) and decided to make them for the S4 as well. I will add to the colors as I go along.

    You may ask WHY BADASS name. Well I called it that because the amount of files that get themed. I like to FULLY theme colorwise EVERYTHING I can for the effect. They are basically stock .png files with added twist for looks and character on main apps.

    Confirmed working with 3Minit from a couple of testers THANKED below.


    SCREENSHOTS and DOWNLOAD LINKS in BELOW POST.


    The Versions 1.8+ will be compatible with firmware versions 4.3 and 4.2.2. Tested on ShoStock/Shostick-i/VisionX and VisionX International firmwares.

    These are VR THEME Morph zips. ONLY colored icons are included in these themes, there are NO .xml edits which should allow them to flash to any Samsung Based Firmwares that ARE ROOTED AND HAVE RECOVERY FOR FLASHING. So NO MF3 OTA support at this time.

    Added my SpideyWallpaper.apk (Blue, Red, Spiderman, and GreyedOut) with Themed/ Colored Wallpapers

    Themes available for the BadAss Series at this time are: Dark Blue BadAss, Red BadAss, Spiderman BadAss, and GreyedOut BadAss. These all include Multiple Themed Apps and Add on Apps. FUTURE colors may be Green and ?. These are mostly darker themes by choice.

    ADDON APPS INCLUDED:
    Themed Google Keyboard- Can be chosen in System Settings/Language and Input
    SpideyWallpapers.apk- Can be chosen along with other wallpaper apps
    Theme Colored Apex Theme- Can be chosen in Apex Settings
    Theme Colored Nova Launcher-For GreyedOut Theme, Red Theme, and Spiderman Theme at this time.

    Some apps ONLY have the Home screen Icon Themed at this time. I may theme them more over time.

    Some Black Text on Dark buttons/backgrounds is possible and I cannot fix those without doing .XML edits for the text colors. Which I do not plan at this time. This should be VERY minimal as I already fixed the major issue.

    IRONMAN BADASS THEME

    IronMan Theme was made for my 10 Year old Son for his SGS2. So I thought I would make it for the S4 as well. It is a Mix of Black with Red, Gold, and a little Blue thrown in as well. It has my own Spiderman.apk filled with IronMan Wallpapers. There is a Gold Google Keyboard and a Red Samsung Keyboard included. Many apps are mostly Red Based as with my Red Theme and others mix it up with the Gold oart of the theme. Some Blue seperators inside some apps as well as Blue Icons with IronMan Powersource for the slider scrubbers. Hope others like it as much as my son does...
