what is the video patch, does it fix netflix and youtube apps when using bamf kernel?
if so where do i get it?

i was using bamf kernel till i found out my youtub and netflix app would not run, so i went back to stock and they work now, but would rather use bamf kernel if i can get those apps to work...

Thanks for all the responses. Knowing Newts work, it is probably an issue with my device or Amazon Account, and not the ROM.

I just did and will give that a try. I deleted a handful of devices, but did not get any warning that I was at a limit. I will also give TB a try. I typically use MyBackupPro to restore apps, but Swiftkey is usually the one app that does not like being restored (along with Chrome).

The smoothest Sense 4 ROM for the resound that I have used so far. Great job.

I do have a few issues and wondering if someone else has the same.

1) as soon as I started Skype the phone is rebooted. This is a clean install from Google Play.

2) as soon as I applied the 5.0.9 patch, internet browser and gmail starts to crash. Back to version 5.0.8 and everything is fine again.

Thanks for the help. Clearing old devices and restoring through TB worked!

Is Joels the best kernel to use if I want to undervolt? I like DSBs, but it does not look like many are using that with 5.0.8.

Rom works great except for lag who trying to continuous shoot in cam but it does work. Also panorama dont work and I assume taking A shot while recording a vid or watching a vid is disabled. Not trying not ***** or anything but we have had sense 4 roms for quite sometime and we still dont have the imagesense features which I know we dont need imagesense for because look at inc 4g it has video picture taking and it does not have imagesense as well as there apps inn the market that can do continuous shooting even better than stock sense 4 on a one x. Just saying

Wait on the kernel I'm working on something undervolted, joels doesn't allow voltage control, I don't know how the voltage is set up, if its already undervolted or using the stock voltage tables

Newt has not released any patches for 5.0.8 yet. The patches on the OP are for 4.0. So if you applied one of them, you should reflash 5.0.8. As for Skype, I don't use it so can't comment. Let's see if someone else chimes in.

I did not release a patch don't just grab zips from my ftp if its not posted there's a reason... When the patch is ready ill post

I use Backup Pro also. I tried Titanium Backup but have had bad luck with it freezing while restoring apps, and when it wasn't freezing it was asking me to "install", then confirm "done" for every app!, and I have like 159 of them. Would have taken forever.

Camera not working

Stock 5.08 install, no new kernels,etc. Installed camera fc's on panorama and burst.
Using Ucam - both panorama and burst work
Using Fast Burst - burst works

must be something specific in the special camera app.

So i pulled the camera from 4.0 to see if I could use it instead because I like the volume shutter button feature, but no go, any idea why?

Haven't had a problem with TB (I use Pro version) with any ROMs on the Rezound going back almost a year. What you describe is what I see when restoring using Astro but, with TB, it restores every app that is checked without any further user involvement.

As with all problems, there are so many subtle variables that may affect each situation. I'm on latest global RUU, Newts 5.08 ROM with no modifications. Before I flash any new ROM, I always run CleanRom (5x version) from Scott - works like a charm and it gives you a clean, bare phone on which to flash.

No freezing issues for me, but the restore logic you are describing is what you get in the free version. The Pro version support direct mode that doesn't require any intervention.
