- Now your K860 is rooted! Look for the root app in your phone to confirm. If rooting didn't work, try this process again.

I want to note that I'm not responsible for any bricked phone by using this root process! I didn't do it myself yet, so it's all at your own risk!
Also backup all data before rooting the phone!

Because I don't have this phone at the moment I can't try to root it just yet. So if anyone got it rooted using this method, let me know!

Good news.. finally my K860 rooted.
Actually you dont have to run as admin.

Uncle google said: its probably some apps still use adb file such as sync apps
So i ran snappea. browse my K860 then close the apps
click Root apps and it works perfectly.

Root method seems to work, a few users in this thread already confirmed this!

I have successfully rooted my LENOVO. Now I am wondering if there is a way to unroot it back for warranty purposes. Really appreciate your work.

Do you have the Superuser or SuperSU app? Somewhere in the settings you should be able to unroot your device completely for superuser uninstall.

Yes I do. But i can't find such option in the Superuser App >_<

Strange. Can you uninstall that Superuser app and install SuperSU from the Google Play store (if you have Google Play on your phone)?
Or else search the web for a SuperSU apk.

Update Method:
1. Create a new Directory name: /sdfuse in your SD card;

Thank u very much.. i succesfully instaled the new ROM in my phone! the first link u said in your reply! This ROM is working very good but I'm founding some errors, not too bad but sometimes unconfortable, such as a not proper work of the headphones and problems with some widgets

There are news about new ROM developments? are cookers working on it? i cant find nothing on the internet about this!

Thanks i just installed SuperSU from google play, and found the way to unroot in the setting menu

there are many many thread on the net about this fantastic phablet. Every news, new ROM (CM10, official firmware, offiacial rom, miui rom etc) are in chinese language but with google translate you can understand almost everything.

Thanks for this, I've been lurking on this thread for a while, having gotten my k860 last week to Australia and trying to flash it.
Damn thing has english language but not for a lot of the system messages etc.

Also, what's with those Chinese forums that make you reply to see the files and create threads 80 pages long of people replying with nonsense!

So my phone is rooted but I'm still having trouble with google play. I put the modded version in my system/aps but it still won't turn on (the ap).
I'm going to put on MIUI when it's official, but i'm not holding my breath on that one.

is better to put the newest rom on it ! it havent any chinese app on it and also have the google play preinstalled !
the only bug i found is that the wifi turns on randomly !

omg, it is lightyears better than stock. Haven't tested out any issues but just having google services is great.

There was a question about battery before. It's great. It seems to last almost 2 days at the moment, which is better than my gfs new Galaxy S2 4g.

maybe I won't bother with MIUI now. I haven't felt so complete since having my nexus one stolen last year

Edit: just an aside, does installing a custom rom remove root? It seems to have done on mine

did yours wifi turns on randomly ? mine turns on every 3-4 minutes
