Following these steps should also resolve the [Attempt to invoke interface method 'int.java.lang.CharSequence.length()' on a null object reference] error when attempting to download a video (or mp3) with the non-root version.
1. Go to Menu -> Settings -> Apps and Uninstall all 3 MGoogle apps, OGYoutube, and the official YouTube app (if installed)
2. Go to Menu -> Settings -> Accounts and remove your Gmail account.
3. Reboot
4. Re-download and Install OGYoutube (http://ogmods.net/home/OGYouTube)
5. Re-download and Install the 3 MGoogle apps
6. Go to Menu -> Settings -> Accounts
7. Select MGoogle
8. Add existing Gmail account
9. Open OGYouTube
10. Sign In
11. Enjoy!

-Provide the highest available rendition selected when you download the video. Why?
Cause some video have 720p and you have to reselect 1080p for donwload. It would be good if app would select the highest rendition available to download without re-selecting by user

That's odd. I've never had any problems with background play with either the xposed or non-root version. The only issue is it will stop playing after approximately 20 mins if OGYoutube is not in the foreground (just screen off).
No problems anymore [emoji4]
Uninstall and install var1.0
And now the background play mode working nice.

Guys, is there a way to solve that quality drop to 144p on the beggining of the video?

I manage to make this version to work with a clean flash and by following the above steps but i have a small problem with the apl when i use the pop up function and i press the full screen button instead to open the og YouTube in full screen it opens the last apl i used
Any one have this problem?
