No camera. Check cm10.1 thread to find out more. H8 is working on it afaik.

In the meantime I'll compiling AOSPA. :)

Is anyone else having issues with audio quality through Bluetooth? For me, I am getting distortion when playing music through Google Music on all of my Bluetooth audio devices, not getting the same issues on non-Bluetooth audio devices. I am on version 1.3.1 running the stock kernel. I was having the same issue on the KingKang ROM. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What's the exact issue? Are you using DSP manager?

Just posting to remind aznrice how much if a badass you are and how much my ears love you every time they orgasm from the sound! After your old threads got locked I tried other roms.... I guess I was spoiled so much with the audio in this I didn't realize how craptastic stock audio sounds! Only way I can compare is if you **** in your hand then stick it in your ears and squish it around a bit, listen to your favorite song (stock). Now unclog your ears wash them out find the hottest girl in the near vicinity begin to make sweet love to her and listen to your favorite song (kingbeatzzxxx) that's about the best comparison I can think of lol good luck in school though I feel you on the college craziness just got done with my aerospace engineering degree -.- brain.needs.break haha

Haha thanks man. The appreciate is what motivates me to continue to make it better as a ROM overall. People might think that since its an audio based ROM,l I might lack stuff in other areas such as performance. Not true at all. I mean I love audio but the ROM gotta be beastly too.

Lol i had to setup everything again because when I updated my Linux sht broke and I couldn't build. It's currently compiling the latest cm updates including BT audio(I hope). Almost done.

I have hboot 2.20 I think, I'll double check and get back to you (update this post). Your ROM is so awesome, can't wait to have everything working ;) thanks a million.

Yeah so it's 1.14.0002, haven't flashed any kernels, and I was on the most recent version.

aznrice2k4 so I'm a little bit confused about this kernel.

I'm on 3.0.57-KinGkernel-g44fd531, with the v1.3.0 ROM

That was the most recent kernel correct? I'm on HBoot 1.14 but I didn't fastboot any kernel.

Should I take that kernel in your github -> download it as a zip, and then flash it into my ROM?

Well the problem is that I'm depreciating 4.1.2. The latest one is from 1.3.1 and it's nothing like this one.

You might as well flash 1.3.1 if you wanna stay on 4.1.2.

Just for sht and giggles. Don't mind the cpu score. I changed my governor that would get the worst score minus power save.

Oh okay, so I have the correct kernel (for 1.3.0)?

Just to make sure then, because a previous post of yours said to fastboot the kernel -

When I upgrade to 1.3.1, is there any separate step I'll need to take, or will I have the updated kernel already?

thanks!

Well, I was planning on making an executable script for windows so people don't have to do it manually but I've been procrastinating.

To do it manually, you first need to extract the kernel into your fastboot directory.

Reboot to recovery wipe cache and dalvik. Flash ROM. Reboot to bootloader then fastboot the kernel. A final reboot then you're set.

Oh I just finished the nightly. This is a wicked update. Its up on my goo.

i didn't wipe from 1.3.0 to 1.3.1. the roms kernel was laggy for me so i flashed rohan b7 novc and now it runs lagfree, but i still get freezing from the phone which has happened for me with any kernel that has sweep2wake. in the changelog it says to wipe for 1.3.1 so i might wipe and reflash.

    FAQ - README FIRST!

    What is KingBeatZ?

It was formally known as PacKing BeatZ which was based on PACman rom.

What's the difference between this and the other KingBeatZ?

This is fully built from sauce with PACman as its base but with many modifications
    . Basically it supersedes it.

    Like what

Linaro toolchain 4.6.3 and and 4.7.1

    Custom made audio base
Optimization from the base up O2 Kernel and O3 rom
    Linaro libjpeg-turbo
    OTA Updates
    SuperSU
    Nova Launcher
    Launcher2
    Modified DSPManager aka BeaTz Manager
    AOSP PA 2.99 - Yeah that's right

OK that sounds cool but what about this kernel you're talking about?

Audio Codecs and formats not used in regular kernel

    XZ COMPRESSION
BFQ V5, SIO, VR, CFQ, NOOP AND DEADLINE - IO Scheduler
Hotplug, Intellidemand, ondemand, performance, user space, and power save -governors
OTG SUPPORT - thanks to CM10

What else? What about S2W and so on?

I find them useless and not worth the trouble especially S2W unless its requested repeatly

OK I GOT IT...But Why use your ROM you're just a kanger or so they say

LOL check out my credit page. I don't kang. I just simply do so much to keep track of it all. Don't believe me? OK, I don't care. I made this rom for people who truly enjoy a rom that's designed for the user not by my decision alone. Go join the other white knights.

    Go make your own rom!

Join the club. There's a line though. While waiting please refer to the answer above - thanks again. It might take you a long time to comprehend it. No worries you'll get there in no time.

Where is the dmn source - Under Heavy Development - Why?

I'm doing this by myself so I'm figuring out how to completely setup the repo so people can build this for other devices.

Now if you took the above seriously or was offended, well...the only thing I can say is that take a long deep breath and relax. :D

    Description
The struggle to find the ROM you need is over. Some people like CyanogenMod 10, Some prefer AOKP, Some like the advantages of Paranoid Android.
To cure your ROM hunt we have come up with the P A C man ROM.
    PACman is a unique ROM.
We have picked the best features from CM10, AOKP and PA and combined them in a single rom so you get the experience you deserve
To enjoy the features of every available project without the hassle of flashing regularly.
The RoOM is rock stable for an average user but keep in mind the ROM is in WIP stage so expect some minor hickups but we are trying our best to resolve these issues

    Features
    • CM10
    • AOKP M1
    • Paranoid Android
    • Fresh compiled CM10 kernel

    4.2.1 Preview
    KingBeatZ Nightlies

    Side Notes for 4.2

Whatever problems that the Unofficial CM has, more than likely this rom will have.
    The official thead is here

    Side Notes

Please Use Paranoid Pref's for DPI changes and not Rom Control

    Performance Tips

    Set Zram to OFF
    Put Purging OFF
    Put KSM ON
    Governor = hotplug

    Audio Tips

Have fun with them, BUT DO NOT HAVE VOLUME at MAX if it's your first time with this rom.
Be very careful with compression - it can be your best friend or worst enemy
    Virtualizer is quite useless
I personally do not use DSP Manager

It seems that some people do not understand what it means when a mod does a thread cleaning, or how to use the report button. I suggest that you all take some time to understand it.
