This subforum is for the XT925/926. You should go read in the subforum for the XT1032 to find out for your device.I know this is a very, very, very old thread, but if anyone can answer me, this can works on XT1032?
I tried to do the same procedure, but i tried to restore a modified QCN file from the phone, because the NV editor shows only-read error.
I suggested you read there, not ask there. Try the search feature.I have asked in the XT1032 subforum, but nobody answered my question.
I know, but the process is quite similar between this 2 devices.I suggested you read there, not ask there. Try the search feature.
You will get even fewer answers here, because this subforum isn't for your device at all.
I did it on windows 8 I can assist you.

9/ You can then press "Write NV" to write the IMEI value to your phone. The Hex values for your IMEI will consist of no more than 2 characters per a box and must match your IMEI or it will not take the values you enter.
The IMEI is also listed in a special order so you must follow this guide to ensure your IMEI is correct.
The first box will always be an 8.
The second digit in the second box will always be a.
Example if your IMEI was: 954091051099226, then the boxes would look like so:
8
9a
45
90
1
15
90
29
