la mine merg arhivele, dar, tu ai reusit sa-l faci sa booteze de pe sd card in android?
la mine porneste in winmo iar daca dau sa execute haret,pleaca...dupa un secol;
normal cred,fiindca sunt ambele s.o.
am incercat si cu haret mai vechi,tot asa
sd este de 2gb kingston
multumesc

I've managed to finnish installing with the mirror bassiebal has posted.
It does take a little time to boot. I'm curious if the battery life is as good as I hear.
Will post feedback.
PS: I've installed it and works on a Kingston 1GB microSD and a Silicon Power 8GB class 6.
Also noticed that the led notificator was on at all times. fixed it with the <31/01/11> -/- Latest Rootfs + Corrected key mapping for Blackstone from the forum.
Waiting for tiad8 to post the release with camera support.
Thanks!

With the startup file that's attached, i believe you need to remove the rel_path=andboot line based on this new tutorial. I'm just trying this tutorial out now as I'm having problems with the black screens/incoming calls/cannot connect to camera message.

Still no luck. I've tried the following: -

1. Download all three files in the first post.
2. Copy all the files from the Froyo X Red Camera (24/02 update) to the root of a freshly formatted FAT32 8GB Class 2 SDHC memory card
3. Boot android (everything seems fines)
4. Copy the new lib+kernels to SDHC card (without editing conf file or anything to avoid Windows corrupting the file).
5. Open up the camera app and i get the following message - Cannot connect to camera
6. Replace the libcamera.so file with the libcamera.so.5mp version on VirusCrazy's page and removed the rel_path=andboot (as files are copied to root of sd card)
7. Same error message.

Issue regarding incoming call was solved by merely leaving the phone alone for a few minutes (p.s. love the ringtone :p )

Any ideas where I'm going wrong? I've been trying out the previous versions for both FRX04 and Froyo X RED, but I am still waiting to see something on my camera! I tried to what Tiad8 mentioned about force_cdma=0, but again, no luck. Either I'm stupid, or my touch HD dislike's me :(

P.s. a useful addition for the startup would be to add the line msm_blackstone_pad.vibrate=1

did you begin with a clean sd card? that means formatted it?

i think the startup.txt file you've provided doesn't work with your method of installation. you should delete this in your startup.txt
Code:
rel_path=andboot

since you said extract the files into the "root" of the sd card not into "andboot" folder, this "rel_path=andboot" should be removed

hope this helps

yes ive formated it to fat32
i changed startup text from a other froyo rom and wifi now works but still no 3g
3g also didn't work on the other rom maybe something has to be changed in the file but i'm not that smart ;)
and also verry important camera works with your new files
now only the 3g have to work

    So I noticed there wasnt any tutorial on how to install it and you just had to search all the posts in the froyo x thread to figure it out. Now I have done it this way.Im sure there are tons of other ways.But this one workes for me and I just want to share it. I will try to keep it up to date so everybody can install android on their blackstone.

    All credits to Tiad8 and other developers this is not my build!

    special thanks to TRNSLN who helped me install froyo so I can help you

    Anyway first things first. Is this something for me to use daily? well here is your change to figure out.

    My homescreen+menu+latitude
    homescreen.png

    proof the camera works
    Sample video(shot with blackstone)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OrYAP99pZI4 (embed doesnt work)

    sample photo(shot with blackstone) click here for full image

    So is this something for you?

    whats working and whats not?

    wifi/3G/sync =Ok!
    market =Ok!
    latitude =Ok!
    Headphones =Ok!
    messaging/calling(call/receive) =Ok!
    Bluetooth =testing..
    Battery =10/11 hour
    Usb =No (at least not with standard app, there have been reports of usb via other program havent tested it yet)
    Chapters of this tutorial:
    [1]Formatting SD card
    [2]Installing Froyo X red
    [3]Installing Camera
    [4]Finishing up

    Downloads
    1 Froyo X Red
    2 kernel+libs
    3 Haret+Startup.txt-Ts-Calibration
    4 If having problems with booting android try this startup.txt
    [1]Formatting SD card

    Easy as pie.
    put your memory card in a sd card reader (your blackstone will do fine) and plug it in your pc/laptop.
    open My pc and look for your memory card and right click on it.
    Click Format
    57542535.png

    make sure FAT32 is selected and click ok
    16774455.png

    Ok great Sd card is formatted and ready to go. no lets move on..

    [2]Installing froyo X Red /B]
    ok first things first download Froyo X Red and Haret+Startup.txt-Ts-Calibration.
    Then unpack Froyo X Red to the root of your memory card(root means on your memory card not in an folder on your memory card)
    screenieea.png

    Then open up Haret+Startup.txt-Ts-Calibration and copy all the files to the root of your memory card.
    screeniew.png

    Now unmount your Blackstone or Sd card reader from your pc.Put the Sd card in your blackstone(if it isnt already there) navigate to your storage card and open the file Haret

    Now it shoud just give you a bunch of text and a little linux penguin let it load for a while(note: It coud take some minutes so dont think it wont boot)

    screeniex.jpg

    it shoud boot. now follow the set-up and sync your google account.then turn off your blackstone and reboot it.so it boots in windows mobile again.when its in windows mobile go to the next step!

    [3]Installing Camera
    so android working accordingly everything set up but still no camera..
    its time to change that

    download kernel+libs

    simply unpack the zip to your memory card..
    overwrite zImage
    screenie2a.png

    thats that your done. enjoy android with working camera!
    [4]Finishing up

    this isnt really a neccesary step but I do recommend it.

    open up spare parts and set the Window animation and Transition animation to Fast
    screenshot7xq.png

    and your done! have fun with your brand new Android phone..

    dont forget to check this thread for updates!
