Waiting on the d2tmo!

this ROM works for all galaxy s3 variants. They just unified all variants into one build.

The biggest change with this build is that it is compatible with every single variant of the Galaxy S3 (AT&T, TMo, Sprint, Verizon, etc.
The way it does this is by executing a script during flash that identifies your bootloader and loki-patches the boot.img (kernel) if you are on one of the locked bootloader variants (AT&T or Verizon) and, for all others, leaves the kernel alone. It also adds any overlays for your device variant (APN's, etc.). Pretty freaking cool.

I flashed the build prior to last night's. It is soooooo good. I just wish it had power widgets(I know they're dead forever) and the ability to turn off the light of the soft keys.

I don't use bluetooth so I didn't care to update to last night's release.

How are you flashing to get the Bluetooth to work? I dirty flashed and then tried again clearing caches and flashing, but mine still disconnects after less than a minute. do I need to wide to factory reset and flash again?

Hey guys,

I'm having this problem flashing this ROM. Whenever I install it, everything this goes fine but it doesn't start up... I mean Liquid Smooth booting screen goes on and on... I've waited for over 30 mins but it doesn't work. I'm on the latest version of CWM. I did all factory/data/cache wipes. And I've tried flashing it for at least 6 times. No error on anything while installing. Plus, the latest gapps.

Any help please?

Same Problem

I'm having the same problem as the previous poster. Twrp comes up with no errors when installing the rom but when I first boot it it just stays on the LiquidSmooth splash screen forever. Waited a good 20 minutes, I'm fairly certain it shouldn't take this long.

Did you follow these instructions? It flashed just fine for me. I used the slim gapps.

PA gapps didn't work for me. Playstore wouldn't load despite clearing cache. Not sure what was up with that.

Are you connecting to a headset or a car? I'm trying to connect to a car and my xlink. It'll connect to both no problem and make a call as soon as it connects but then won't wake up the phone on a later call. I think it may have something to do with the phone book download freezing Bluetooth.

I'm going to test again tomorrow and let you know what I find.

I've tried to install the rom without the gapps for the last time but it doesn't seem to work. Booting screen takes forever. I have a SGH-T999, d2tmo.

Maybe it's a bad download? Delete that file and re-download the rom again. It worked flawlessly for others and I. Not sure what's happening in your case.

Yes, I did that twice. I have a high speed internet. Takes about 30 seconds to download the ROM.

    Dynamic F-Sync
This is a goodie by faux123, so all credits go to him for creating this unique feature !

Many kernels just disable synchronous writes to file to speed up system. While this works neatly, it is also dangerous as processes believe that file writes are actually synced to disk (or mmc media in our case) while this is not yet true ! The gain is a noticeably smoother user experience, but the risk of doing so is to have a corrupted filesystem if the device crashes, user pulls battery, battery fully depletes ... so that the device is turned off unexpectedly. To allow for the benefit, but to minimize the risk, faux123 created dynamic fsync, which while the screen is on, will defer file sync temporarily, but when screen gets turned off, a flush is called to synchronize all outstanding writes keeping your data safe.

    SLIMBus OverClocked
This means SLIMbus will use its maximum potential to give the best audio quality for the hardware. Takes advantage of both hardware and the mods from zeroinfinity, also opening the door for more things that were previously limited by this. Researched and experimented by ZeroInfinity and Poondog

Anyone try the 3/24 build with the new Deathly kernel? Was trying to wait before I jumped in but nobody's talking about it, ha.

I've been on 3/24 with the deathly kernel for about 16 hours now. So far so good, no reboots and everything seems to be working.
    3
Same... Running 2/28 nightly and taking a front facing pic in Instagram caused a freeze, then reboot. :-\

Front facing pic in Camera app seems to work fine.

Good to know. I have 2/28 on my sd. Will probably flash it tonight.

Btw, for anyone reading this and thinking of flashing the 2/28 build, the devs said to do a clean install coming from any previous builds.
