It would be a 5 star app for me if it did factor in bluetooth on all devices though. I discovered soundseeder one day when my friend and I were at a park with our speakers and wanted to play around with distributed audio streaming. There was another app called Chorus which managed to stream without stuttering but had no way to manually adjust offset.

This should now be fixed.
But please note, that syncronized playback with BT speakers might be difficult...

Your app is getting better with every single update!
UPnP feature works fine with my Windows 8 PC.

Hi! Is there a way to control the speaker from a windows pc? The only way I can think of right now, is to have a VM with android running on your pc, not that easy setup.
Is there an easier way like maybe setting up a local streaming server?

As I understand, right now only DLNA / UPNP browsing is supported? I really would love to see the player app as a DLNA device. That way I could use Windows media player to control the playback.

Beside all that: really a great app!

Hi and thank you.
You are right, the only way to control soundseeder from a pc moment, is to run it in an Android VM.
But running the player as dlna renderer is a nice idea... I wrote it on my list, please stay tuned.

ok, thank you for your reply.
Maybe it is the wrong thread here. But I rephrase the question: As Soundseeder can listen to radio stations, can you setup some kind of private radio station and control this radio station from your pc?
And what is meant by "Audio Files via HTTP"?

Yes, you can do that with the good old Winamp.
Install the ShoutCast DSP plugin, start a local shoutcast DNAS server and connect SoundSeeder to its URL...

Thanks @JekApps, SoundSeeder has made a great development since your first release!

Does anyone know a way to stream the system sound of a windows PC as http mp3 stream?
I'd like to connect soundseeder to my pc, but not only to Winamp like posted above...

Take a look at "Stream what you hear" for Windows by Sebastien Warin: http://www.streamwhatyouhear.com/download/
It streams all Sounds as mp3 stream via HTTP/DLNA. It works fine with SoundSeeder and lets you stream music from every application or online music service like Spotify to your speakers.

Recommended setting is MP3 with 44100Hz, 16bit Stereo and 320kbit/s.
