Hey guys,

So kssood made a topic some time ago regarding JoyOS, it's a nice rom and some users, including me liked it, but unfortunately he stopped posting updates so I decided to update it for our phones by myself as soon as JoyOS team updated it for Huawei C8650 (which is also a MDPI phone!) so I created this topic.

Features
- iOS inteface (leave now in case you don't like it :p);
- Good performance and good battery life;
- Based on latest CyanogenMod nightly for our phone;
- Everything that works on CyanogenMod works here (apparently);
- Can be definitely used as daily ROM.

Version 1.1.7:
- Music player automatically downloads lyrics now;
- You can now set a lockscreen background (on Settings/Display/Lockscreen background);
- Sony Bravia Engine (not sure if it's working on our phones though);
- Terminal emulator and SIM toolkit were removed (who used that anyway?);
- Status bar battery icon was fixed;
- Some other stuff.

Version 1.1.8:
- Notes app added;
- New notifications style (can be switched on/off on Settings/Display/Notification roll);
- Lyrics download function was improved once again (although I didn't see any change);
- Based on latest CyanogenMod nightlies.

Version 1.1.9:
- New file manager;
- Custom ringtones chooser;
- Different status bar animation when a notification appears (it kind of shrinks now);
- Number of displayed contacts on contacts app has increased;
- Option to delete multiple contacts at once;
- Option to add songs to an existing playlist;
- You can now show the battery percentage at the left of the battery icon;
- Option to show operator name at the right of the signal bars;
- Lots of other tweaks.

This rom is for NEW BASEBAND ONLY and is only available in English and Chinese.

I try here... i really like the notification screen =]
I like your initiative to remove sim Toolkit... i never used this :O

No, it's not a just a themed rom. This is a themed rom.
I figured as Sense rom (which is nothing but a port from a rom of another phone too) is posted here, I could post in this section as well.
Also Codename Android Rom is posted on this section and it's nothing but ICS with some new features (exactly like this rom).
Just try it and you'll see that it's not only a theme as you may be thinking. Almost every app and framework files has been changed, so, at least in my conception that's WAY more then just a theme.

If a mod wants to move it I'm completely fine though. :)

@Ablankzin: Glad you liked it. Most changes in the changelog (such as the removal of sim toolkit) were made by JoyOS team, not me.

Anyways, version 1.1.8 has been uploaded. Enjoy. :)

Thnks 4 taking on the project....
And to all other guys. . Please don't rate any thread so low...it discourage the dev ...no one here develop for money ...it's only because of his interest so don't rate poor...
And may be he has posted in wrong section but let the mods to decide this....don't spam here...:)

Well, this is a framework port, just like the MIUI ports...
Sense port is much different from a framework port...
So this should, IMHO, be in Android Development and not in Original Android Development..
Mods, please move this... :)

    Sorry it took so long, I was (am) quite busy coding a program for a school project, but as promissed here's JoyOS 1.1.9. :)
