Turn off noise cancellation and it works fine.
persist.audio.fluence.voicecall=true -> persist.audio.fluence.voicecall=false
open build.prop and change it manually, or use the "build prop editor" app from the google store.
Install the trial and see if it works for you, it does for me on a rooted stock 4.4.3 Nexus 5.

To delete the password:
1. Uninstall the app
2. Remove or rename callrecorder.key from /sdcard/voix (If you have encrypted recordings - it's better to backup a key, probably you'll recall the password somewhen)
3. Install the app again
4. Create a new key

Hi, I remembered the password but I find out that I can listen to the recording files from the file explorer without any kind of decryption so I'm not sure what did you mean. I'm using Nexus 5 D821 on Android 4.4.3 with stock kernel and stock ROM.

Not sure about root but it always helps. If incoming not recording try increasing incoming delay to about 1 sec. If worked without root before it should work now.

OK, I will try the delay. Thanks. Anyway, if you use the app and have root with 4.4, you can record directly on the sd?

Not sure. Unless it's been hacked probably not. Google killed a lot of apps from writing to card.

Depends if you're on a stock rom or a custom one. You can also use Xposed framework with this module
