Call Recorder - SKVALEX
version: 3.1.8

Last update of the app in this post: 08.06.2019

Download

Purchase over PayPal/AliPay via website: https://callrecorder.skvalex.com/purchase

If you have rooted device with Magisk, install "Call Recorder - SKVALEX" from Magisk repository. It already contains everything needed.
If not, install root add-on as an apk: CallRecorderAddOn_v.2.1.0.apk md5: 02a74b0f2bbbdb94f18f1305e6261b2e (some features might be unavailable in this case)
If you don't have root, then you still may install Add-on to get option "start recording on answer" working, you'll need to grant READ_LOGS permission via adb in this case:
Code:
adb shell pm grant org.skvalex.cr.root android.permission.READ_LOGS
Note, that you may need to manually enable logger in engineering menu (or anywhere else where your device manufacturer disabled it). Don't ask questions "how to enable logger" here, you better google it or ask it in forums about your specific device.

Description:
Call Recorder - SKVALEX is intended for automatic call recording. The app provides functionality to record both sides on devices with such support. But some devices don't have 2-way call recording support, or have issues with Bluetooth recording.

Also, the app provides wide functionality to manage recordings:
- Search recordings
- Conversion from one format to another (e.g WAV to FLAC/OPUS/MP3/etc.)
- Adding notes to recorded files
- In-call control button while call recording: you can easily start/stop recording during a call
- Enter to the app using password (or fingerprint)
- Auto clean-up - automatically removes old recordings according to rules set by you. Starred recordings ignored.
- Exceptions: you may set up phone numbers, contacts or groups for specific actions, like always record or do not
- Filename template: you can easily change structure of created files
- Cloud backup support
- Playback recording over main speaker or handset speaker
- Access recording from within contact info
- Call confirm: the app will ask you whether you want to make a call or not
- After call actions dialog: the app will ask what to do with a recorded call
- Vibrate on call start/end

Additional patch for Call Recorder required on Android 7.x Nougat on some devices
Flash the attached zip over TWRP. SuperSU must be installed before flashing this patch.

If it were possible to avoid this patch, it would have been done. I've asked Chainfire to include this to SuperSU, but he rejected it.

Please feel free to make any comments or send suggestions.

I have a htc desire with stock 3.14.405.1
with 2-way-call-recording patched kernel and, of course, root access
this program works perfect and is worth the money
