SD card making my streak slow and sluggish? ?

Ok so I just bought a white unlocked dell streak 5 I'm living the phone but wen I put my 16 gig sandisk micro sd hc card into the phone it started acting really slow and sluggish. So I took the Sd card out and now its fast as ever .......... any answers or opinions would be greatly appreciated thanks

What is the class # of your memory card? The class # will determine the read/write speed. Class 2 is slow. I use a class 4 most of the time. You can go to a higher class if you are willing to spend a lot more money. Try backing up your memory card then reformat it. That's all I can think of.

Try making a backup of your SD card so as not to lose anything, then format it.

And like the others asked, what's the class rating on it? Higher the number, the faster.
