I like Plume for the ability to post to FB as well as Twitter.
Is there a possibility this feature could be added at some stage @joenrv ?

I see just a bug for the moment.
Your apps not use the totality size of the screen.

Feature Requests:
Integrated multi-account timelines (a la Plume's interface)
Swiping between columns
Custom columns (users/searches/lists/etc)
Full list editing (adding accounts to/removing accounts from lists, renaming)

Hopefully Twitter comes to their senses and abandons this foolish walled garden crusade, because this is an app that should be enjoyed by more than just 100K!

Looks like everyone wants this to be exactly like Plume, you should probably just use Plume if so.

I love this app so far. Here's my feedback.

You don't have to implement any of these. ;)

-I would love to be able to swipe between streams or columns.

-Refresh Button instead of pull to refresh (at least optional, it makes the app more consistent with the Android experience).

-A slider to choose font size is not optimal, it's more precise if the user types it. Although, this one doesn't go crazy like the majority, so kudos for that.

-Notifications after tweeting post are not necessary. Maybe a small pop up in the lower portion of the screen like the one most twitter clients have is better, or a notification the user doesn't have to delete all the time.


*Bug: Replying to tweets with SwiftKey is not very good. The keyboard covers the buttons.

Awesome App.

This could easily become the awesomest twitter client on Android!
I use the Falcon Widget on my Nexus 7. It is amazing too.
If you can make this app look good on tablets as well, that would be great!

Am I missing out on something or is there no way to see my retweeted tweets right now?

Another definite buyer here, when you release it.

Amazing app. I know others have mentioned that they don't like the pull down to refresh the tweets in the timeline. However, I actually enjoy it so maybe you could offer both.

awesome client :) just bought tweetcaster last week, and i'm just switching to falcon pro, because it's beautiful:)

i'm joining the mass with requesting the swiping pane switch, and 2 things i would need:

1. the ability to turn off the reply/tweet/whatever sent notification, i just don't need to be notified, just if something went wrong
2. highlighting the replies/retweets/my own tweets with some colour in the timeline

    Well guys, after a day of being kicked out, the thread is back up thanks to some complaining on Twitter (having good contacts helps).

    I like to keep this thread alive to have an extra source of feedback from experienced users, and also to have a place where users can help each other out. Counting on you guys who have been around since BETA to help the new users who ask their question here.

    I'll make sure the original post is always up to date, and the changelogs for new releases will be posted exclusively here.

    * Announcement about swipe navigation and why I think it's a bad idea *

    Guys, I know lots of you have been asking for a swipe gesture to switch columns in the app. I've given it a lot of thought, and I came up with the conclusion that its not a good idea. Here's why :

    1/ Redundancy. There's already two ways to access the core functions (timeline / mentions / dms) a third one would be a lot.

    2/ Right now there's only three columns available, but when all the functions are implemented, there will be much more. Having the sliding menu easily accessible means you are only one swipe&tap away from any section of the app. Ultimately its much faster than swiping several times.

    3/ Looking at how I use plume, I barely ever use the sliding menu or tend to forget about it because of the swiping. I don't want that. I want the sliding menu to be your HQ, packing up so much info and quick accesses to lists, saved searches, current trends, etc, that you'll actually want to look at it and will never need to swipe twice to get where you want.

    4/ Another thing that annoys me in plume and other swipe based clients : If I want to see a saved search that is in column 7, not only I swipe seven times, but it also loads all 6 previous columns, making what I actually want to see load much slower.

    5/ Every other client has a swipe based navigation. I want Falcon to be different.

    6/ I have a few ideas for a sliding menu to the right as well as the left. Might sound a bit crazy, but as I imagine it its awesome, and I have to give it a shot.

    After using the app daily for a few weeks, I don't miss swiping at all. And by the time all functionalities are implemented, i think you'll get use to the swipe&tap navigation and will end up using Twitter more efficiently.

    This is my opinion on swiping navigation, what's yours ?
