Had any one had an issue with doing a restart on the rom? I tried that restart (close all apps and reboot) and got stuck at the evo 4g white screen for 10 mins did a battery pull and same thing did another battery pull after 10 mins and same thing stuck... Had to reflash back up and got stuck agian booted into recovery and click reboot now and that fixed it... Any clue? Everything is fine now... Back on myn rls5

Good news: I just saved 500 hundred bucks on a new phone by switching to XxXViRuSXxX
(So easy, a noobie can do it)

I had tried 720 but it was choppy. I got best results with 640 x 480, very smooth.

I had the same exact plroblem. I switched back to warm z for now until that huge bug is fixed.

No mention of the 2 gb partition, is that still necessary? Is it required to flash the rom to test it out before erasing the SD card?

I hope your still working on this in 2 months. I leave for boot camp tomorrow and I won't be able to use my phone. I'm excited to see this rom fully functional by the time I get back. Thanks Virus!

No, it's all over the place. The ICONS are not working. If you searched for the original thread, you would have seen this everywhere. Although, I don't mean that in a bad way, that thread was out of control anyways.

But, yes, there are no icons, no icons/widgets when showing all home screens either. However, the carousel DOES indeed work for me. Just can't put anything on it to see it other than stock widgets of some sort.

Not necessary, but highly recommended since the 3.0 packages are huge

This is awesome. I honestly thought about going to get the Nexus S tomorrow but now that this is out, I have no reason at all, so the gf finally gets her EVO, haha. So is a total wipe necessary, and the usual steps don't apply to this (nandroid, wipe dalvik, etc?)
