you have to have a rouge app going crazy somewhere in the background because battery life on this rom is just as good if not better then stock bro. Get CPU spy from the market and make sure your tabs going into sleep mode.

i have been out of the scene for some time and was wondering what the latest was around here. Usually this ROM was updated allot and i come to see that my tab still has the latest version running. I guess there has been no new ports.

Sorry for the out of date knowledge but is ice cream going to make its way over to this tablet?

What language is used

Hi, I've just started using this ROM and everything so far seems smooth and nice. Although I have noticed something strange concerning languages:

- In Swype when I enter a word that is not in any dictionaries I can click the word and normally in stock ROM Swype will ask me if I want to add it. It does so, but in an, to me, unknown language.

- Occasionaly a notification in German is displayed. It's so fast that I haven't managed to write it down. It could be from a third part application, but I can't understand why I never seen those German messages on stock ROM with excact same applications installed.

So my question is this: are there any files used in this ROM taken from a non-english ROM that can cause these strange things?

Btw, I'm on Norwegian regionale.

No one of these issues are any big deals but just a little irritating.

this is a US release bro. no other languages, files, or anything has been brought into it. its exactly that. a US release with my modifications and changes.

Asked a few pages back but got no response... STILL can't install apps on my tab from the market, keep getting the error "Purchase cancelled - error while processing purchase." Does anyone have a 3.1.1 or 3.4.4 market apk?

ETA: One problem I found. When using the stock browser and going to facebook (doesn't matter if it's full or mobile site), pictures will not load. Instead I'm left with a small icon in the middle of a picture that shows a question mark. Any ideas of what I would need to install to fix that? Thanks.

quick question, i tried to flash this rom, i did a full wipe of everything and it seemed to flash fine, loaded samsung flash screen and the custom boot animation, when "android" came up it just stayed there, i thought i might be the rom/kernal settling but it sat there for about 10 min and i notice that the tab started to get extremely warm.... any ideas? maybe just a bad flash?

Why o why do you want to flash a 3.1 over an excellent 3.2 rom???? Look at tasks other rom doubt he is supporting this one

oops, i guess i didnt state that, LOL. Im experience flasher with my HTC phone, but new to tablets so it is a bit different

    How to install v5 if coming from another ROM
    1)Put rom on SD (as usual)
    2)Backup your apps with Titaniumm Backup! Its always a good idea to save that bacukup on your PC!!!
    3)Go into CWM and do a FULL-WIPE!(wipe cache partition, dalvik cache, and wipe data/factory reset!)
    4)install zip
    5)reboot

    If you're already on "In Paris v4" no need to wipe, just install zip. But... if you encounter any issues, WIPE!!!

    oh i know. ive been working on this for around 9 hours straight. havent left the couch for longer than a couple minute trying to finish this up before i leave town tomorrow for all you guys. ALMOST DONE!!!!!!!!!!!
