Wow, this is awesome.
Just under 20,000 in antutu and 7300+ in quadrant.
Is there anyway to go back to a stock kernel aside from the following:
-nandroid
-reflashing the original ROM
Because I am a second away from flashing this kernel but would really like to know how to return to a stock kernel aside from the aforementioned methods.
There's a kernel in android development section. (Sorry for not posting link) in the stock flashable ROM thread. Unsecure kernel and boot animation. I'm sure someone has the stick kernel though. Matter of fact I know someone does. Flash away partner. We'll get you back.
BTW I think, unless put in the script to do so, flashing a ROM doesn't over write the kernel . I could be wrong but I think that's at a different level in the phone.
Wiped Cache/Dalvik Cache then flashed Profile 5. Whatever benchmark I use auto quits. Seemed to run fine on the original Perseus but not the profiled one. I suppose it could be that my device doesn't like that low of an undervolt, but just wanted to make sure I was doing everything right.
EDIT: Just needed a reboot... for the 3rd time.
Great job Andre. Which of the 2 files is meant to work with TWRP?This is a direct port of my kernel on the international I9300 Galaxy S3 and sidekick to the international N7100/5 Note 2 kernels.
Recap of features:
- CPU overclocking up to 1.8GHz and undervolting from 600mV to 1400mV.
- GPU overclocking and undervolting.
- GPU scaling reworked.
- Screen sharpness and colour modifications.
- Extended Pegasusq and improved Performance governors.
- Removed Touch Booster and replaced with custom Flexrate mechanic.
- Improved scheduler power management for improved idle residencies on auxiliary CPUs.
- USB charging rate limit increased to 900mA.
- Application for control of various settings.
This is supposed to be merely a proxy thread. Please refer to the N7100/5 thread for full changelogs, explanations, bug-reports and other issues. Kernel for specific device versions will be posted here.
This kernel is for the North American Verizon variant SCH-I605. Versions for other variants are found in their respective forums.
You obviously need to be unlocked with the "Suck it Verizon" bootloader/IROM unlock method before flashing this. I will not be responsible if you break your device by screwing up anything related to that.

Noobish question alert! Where do I go in settings to configure things? I have successfully flashed Perseus Alpha 28, Profile5 and Governor Tweaks.

Sent from my unlocked, and overclocked Galaxy Note 2 running bean's rom
Well, i can say for anyone on the fence about flashing this kernel, don't even hesitate -it is totally awesome.
Last night, i flashed it with profile 5. I'm fully capable of doing all the tweaking myself, but it's time consuming as hell and with Christmas coming etc I'm simply too busy to go through the procedure.
Profile 5 runs perfectly for me scoring just under 20,000 in AnTuTu.
After benching a few times, I started running StabilityTest v2.5. I ran both the Classic Stability Test and then CPU+GPU repeatedly and it was rock solid on both.
At the end, I actually fell asleep with the CPU/GPU test running. I woke up hours later with the battery just about to die and the test still running. This was amazing as no matter what ROM/kernel a phone is running or how conservative it's set up, most phone will eventually freeze up stressing it like this.
Still unstable phone turnes off automatically and is embarrassing get it stuff together
And my reply which also counts as a little open-letter:Some guy said:- Telling me the kernel crashes on his phone in "embarrassing" moments and telling me that he has given up on me and that I should get my stuff together.
I don't know who you are and I have never received any kind of kernel log of you from such crashes; if you are not capable of reading the threads and providing any kind of actual technical feedback on the topic, back off. So with that in mind I ask you to go **** yourself with such PMs and please also stay off the kernel.
