Going to give this a try. I work in aviation as a quality control inspector. There are many times that I have to take pictures of damaged components to be reviewed by engineers. So the pictures must be of a high quality. This is the 1st phone camera I've had that could be used for that.

Ok just noticed something weird, can someone confirm this is happening to them?
From the camera app if I take a picture then look at it from the gallery by hitting the lower right button, picture is good quality, you can zoom in and see things clearly, but if you go to that same picture directly from the gallery app the picture appears low quality...
Anyone else?

To those of you who have the e4gt and the s3:
If you take the same picture with both cameras, and view them on a pc, is the EXIF data the same? Do the pictures look identical? Supposedly the s3's sensor has the same f-stop rating as the e4gt. I perceived that the only difference was the s3 was faster focus and shoot. On the camcorder, does the s3 experience the same behavior of the e4gt with an apparent lack of alc/agc on the mic, resulting in easily clipped audio in louder surroundings or events?

i think this camera has problems focusing on closer objects..... i didnt have this many problems trying to focus with an evo....is there something to correct the problem?? i see the box trying to focus when i click it..and then it blurs itself again and the box turns red instead of green
Same here, international model (same hardware aside from CPU and radios). Again, S2 did not have this issue and had significantly higher quality images.
yea i thought im having issues with my phone or some defect..can anyone else confirm? it really irritates me i was hoping the camera would be good on taking closeup photos too since it IS a newer phone...the s2 and s1(epic4g) never had this problem..even my evo didnt have this bad of a problem....is there a fix for it somehow through software??
