I'm using Cyanogen ROM and i see 1 or 2 loops then it goes directly (less then 1 sec) to lockscreen.

Still don't like it that it first needs to put all the images in cache before the animation goes smooth though...

i've installed AndroidParticlesLoopFast.zip
I got some slower loops, and them it runs fast. But the animation is showing till the end.
i'd try regular one more time now. really like it and wanne see this on my phone.

The "bootanimation.zip" in CWM is located in "/system/media/" so that's where you have to put it. You should be able to overwrite it (make backup first) it by hand with a "file manager" on the phone, or you can use adb to push the file.

So you downloaded the zip...and then >
adb remount
adb push C:\thelocation\downloadedfile.zip /system/media/bootanimation.zip

that should do the trick.

Thumbs up
These are the best, cleanest, most modern and tasteful bootanimations available to date.

Your bootanimation.zip file will be in a number of locations within your ROM.zip depending on what you are running. Best thing to do is to go into the .zip of the ROM you're running to determine the location for yourself.

Rename the downloaded animation to bootanimation.zip.

Then with ADB, you:

adb push C:\<location of file>\bootanimation.zip /system/<location of file>/bootanimation.zip

As these animations are for larger screens, they may run really slow on slower processors/smaller screens. You may need to adjust the size of the individual animation frames and repack them with a new desc.txt file with the correct resolution for your device.
