Surprised its 4.0.3 not 4.0.4 but maybe the 4.0.3 issues only pertained to the Nexus

Of course ICS is coming out right after I decide to switch to an iPhone. FML.
This is wonderful! I'm itching to flash something new, but I have enough patience to wait for the good stuff.

Get it back! In January I had switched from the E4GT to iPhone but I just traded back. There are a ton of Craigslisters who will trade their E4GT for your iPhone (if its 4S) and even some who will add cash on their side.
I still have my E4GT, but it's listed for sale all over the internet. I am leaving Sprint, I am tired of their crap data speeds. The E4GT is the best phone I've ever had, but there is no point in having such a data hungry device when you don't have access to usable data.

This is good news. Looks like Samsung is moving foward, and learning from their update debacles for the original Galaxy S line. Samsung is becoming the #1 android manufacturer, and they are doing what it takes to stay that way. I hope they can keep up this momentum.

While I think we are all excited for official/leaked ICS, what does that say for the state of AOSP development on this phone? I am hoping this unlocks a lot of areas that spurs some AOSP development because it would be a shame to be locked into Sammy only (although they have updated this phone more than most originally thought no?)
We'll see ICS ROMS everywhere once a base is established. ICS All the things, if you will.

137A new ICS rom has posted. The latest release now is FF18. It is ICS
4.0.34.0.4. This is the 40th version. They already have had a FF16, FF11, FF09, FF02, FE26, FE22, FE21, FE16, FE14, FE10, FE07, FD26, FD24, FD19, FD16, FD14, FD10, FD05, FD02, FC24, FC22, FC18, FC17, FC15, FC14, FC13, FC07, FC06, FC05, FC02, FB29, FB27, FB24, FB21, FB17, FB15, FB10, FB09, and FB04. So I would say they are almost done. Here is a link to the rdf page. It helps if you view it in Internet Explorer. View the page source to see the hidden info.

There is another leak, we may or may not see it though. Testing is complete and all gs2 coders for ICS project were reassigned to other projects this morning. As for Sprint, yes, they have some prep work to do, however, at last report, they are prepared to receive this build, which only happens when carriers are at least 90% ota ready. Your OTA is loaded and ready to be sent. Source discussions happening this afternoon, remember this...if you choose to accept this OTA, you WILL LOSE ROOT, not sure for how long, we all know XDA will figure it out pretty quick, but you can wait for the .tar to come out and manually install this build without losing root as well. Just food for thought. If I hear any other news I'll post, otherwise, have a great weekend folks
