UCLH9 (Ice Cream Sandwich) is several generations behind. Aren't you overdue for an update? Seriously though, you can easily root and there are several options for this. The easiest would be CF-Auto Root. You can see the download links and instructions in the thread below ...

If you don't mind upgrading, however, my suggestion would be that you install the pre-rooted version of Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean (I747UCDLK3). This is already rooted and can be flashed via Odin. You will find the download links and instructions in the thread below ....
