This new KANG test build is really snappy and thank god the gallery works perfectly now (no more ES photo viewer ;)).

However, a couple things that are obvious (and may not be) to fix:

1. The battery usage statistic (even at full charge and no OC, my battery goes down in about 8 hours and thats in IDLE with SetCPU profiles. knowing what eats it would help.)

2. Camera (obvious but good news to see that its progressing :))

3. HQ video playback (but this will need Qualcomm driver :()

4. Speaker volume on phone call is low (minor flaw. Worry about this after everything else :D)

Again, it's AMAZING how fast this rom developed. the last rom i used was Mik9's CM7 GB rom and that took about a year to get to where this rom is now.

My battery is better than CM7, i'm using my phone for about 12hours with heavy usage and my battery is still at 41%, try to use betterbatterystats to se what is draining your battery

Now you can even play most of the hq videos lag free in mx video player sf decoding mode with overlocked at 729Mhz

that was possible from beta 4 ! except audio and vedio sync messed up which was easily corrected by moving the viedo forward or back.. and ! anyone test this plzzz! its works for me perfectly, its the bootanimation of CM9 (without the new mascot) which fits perfectly in our screen.. ive tested and modded it and approved it ! lupo, arjen, dj, anyone ? its pretty sexy ! :p

I have followed this thread closely from its inception. I don't believe my problem has been mentioned. I have found after turning data on that it doesn't want to turn off. Anyone else experience this? I did not have this issue in previous builds and I did a complete wipe before flashing.

On a positive note, this build is exceptional and stable enough for my daily use. Great battery, clear stereo sound, snappy response and overall, the most advanced ROM I've ever tried.

Problem with market

Well first of all let me just say this last testing version is just awesome. Stable, fast, simply beautiful. But I have a problem.

Believe me i tried to solve it before coming here and cry about it, but no matter what I do I can't get the market to appear. Did full wipe even formatted system and boot in a second desperate try; tried every gapps (from goo inside or first post) possible, and tried installing market mannualy, this is the only way I can get the market to appear and when it does it FC every single time.

I'm sure I haven't heard this problem before and I can't get my head around this. No matter what I try the result is always the same.

Any solutions?

During a call, if I turn on the "speaker mode" (I'm sorry, I don't know the correct name in English..) volume is not loud enough. You need to keep the telephone close to your ear if you want to listen.

Some days ago a user posted a flashable zip which possibly solved this problem. He asked people to test it, but I didn't because I was running cm7 at that moment.

Was that fix working? Will it work also on this new testing version? (it was made for the previous kang)

That zip does help the headset volume, but the speaker is still very low.

You all talking about one problem.
There is a lack of space on /system! Market does not "fit" :)

Solution:

delete the videos from /system/media using root explorer

After that - reinstall gapps. All be fine!

Did not have that problem here???
And of course I did a full wipe etc.

Can someone check free space after flashing the testing-KANG and report it?

Guys this has been said again and again but please make this thread free from pointless discussions and leave this thread for the developers to discuss amongst themselves and post only relevant major bugs which haven't been reported before so the developers can have easy access to them.
Please put all your queries and problems in these general discussion threads:
Thread 1
Thread 2
You can also search this thread for problems that have already been solved like the android market problem in the latest test version.
Decluttering this thread will only make our developer's work easier and they will be able to bring out updates faster.
ThankU :)

    CyanogenMod 9
    [Unofficial KANG Builds]
    [ICS 4.0.3 Based]
    By Team M.A.C
    (multipleandroidcoding.wordpress.com)
    ----------------------------------------------
    About
    1) Ice Cream Sandwich: Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) is the latest version of the Android platform for phones, tablets, and more. It builds on the things people love most about Android — easy multitasking, rich notifications, customizable home screens, resizable widgets, and deep interactivity — and adds powerful new ways of communicating and sharing.

    2) CyanogenMod: CyanogenMod (pronounced sigh-AN-oh-jen-mod), is a customized, aftermarket firmware distribution for several Android devices (See above for supported devices & how to install CyanogenMod on said devices). Based on the Android Open Source Project, CyanogenMod is designed to increase performance and reliability over Android-based ROMs released by vendors and carriers such as Google, T-Mobile, HTC, etc. CyanogenMod also offers a variety of features & enhancements that are not currently found in these versions of Android.

    3) Team M.A.C: Known as Team Multiple Android Coding, is a group of developers emerged from LGE Optimus-One Community. Works on projects based on Android v4.x.x (Ice Cream Sandwich) which combines both performance and attractive User Interface. Believes in absolute teamwork to provide the better side of Android. Multiple Android Coding ROMs are completely open-source that promises no pure development & advancement of the worldwide Android development.

    ----------------------------------------------
Now, a very warm welcome to all the members of the Optimus One Community :)
Not so long ago when ICS known as Android v4 was released, we all got our hopes high to see it gliding on our beloved Optimus One. But on the same time, Team CyanogenMod threw the word out for CyanogenMod Version 9.
Since Cyanogenmod has always been the best aftermarket firmware with tons of additional feature. So, i decided to build CM9 from sources and bring some Icy biscuits to our phone.
    ----------------------------------------------

    NOTE:
    1) This build is purely CM9 and it won’t contain any additional stuff upon request, until CyanogenMod implements.
    2) If you experience any sort of bugs, please follow the stated procedure to report and do make sure that you are not resubmitting any of the older bugs. Also make sure to confirm about the bug you are reporting.

    Build Version:
    Kernel:
    Bug:
    Logcat: (If possible)

Do not, i repeat do not report any bugs if you experience them when you have overclocked above the normal frequency i.e 600 MHz.

    3) If you have got anything to discuss about this rom, please refer to the mentioned 2 threads: [See the Links and Download below]

    4) Only for new baseband

    5) Do not, i repeat do not mirror my rom or its link in any way, else you will be held guilty and action shall be taken by the moderator
    ----------------------------------------------

some users sayin me in PM that i'm thief and i'm stealing your money or i'm trying to do that.

BUT: 1) money that users gave me i've used for pay university taxes as i can told prevoiusly 'casue my father have lost his work unfortunately and we have no money so big thanks to users that has donated me to keep my dream alive. After that i didn't asked no money 'cause i don't need them.

    2) my phone is crashed and it was my fault ok.I don't have money 'cause you know that my financial situation is bad so i can't buy a new phone..... thanks to p500's friend i can test something BUT is the primary phone for him and my friend doesn't have one to spare.BUT IF i do this it is for you people that helped me and not for me to get bug fixes quicker.

Nobody asked to you to donated. you feel free. If you believe me ok if you think that i'm a thief ok. BUT don't say things that aren't true if you don't have evidences first.
