Hmm. According to the SI numbers, I should be able to update using PCC but it says that I already have the latest version. So, I think, the SI is for 4.0.3 coz the site itself doesn't state which ICS version. Right? I'm going with the ftf provided.

Seems like fake..even i can't boot this up.. Tried all the different kernel that is available for ics...any 1 with success

its not fake the same version is on wotanserver...2012 phones will get diferent version of ICS

Before I uploaded zip and wrote here instructions I tried it on my phone, so not sure where could be the problem. Will try one more time, when my battery gets charged up.

ftf is working for sure, as I flashed it 4,5 times this morning, and few more times yesterday.

Why the hell would I spend my time and mess around with builds editing and whatnot just to show something? Are you serious? This is Sony 4.0.4 ICS 4.1.B.0.431, final or not final, it's what it is. Use it as it is, or don't use it.
I don't know why it's not available on PCC and SEUS yet. Just wait.

Everything works fine herefor the locked bootloader....but there seems to be some problem ....widget picker dosent work and also dial pad is not working during call...i followed your procedure step by step...
But that's old news now, no need to bug with flashing zip's

1.1) turn usb debugging on
1.2) allow unknown sources
1.3) select MSC mode (settings->Xperia->connectivity->USB connection mode->MSC mode)
2)Flash kernel from 4.0.3(4.1.A.0.562) ICS and boot phone. Flash only kernel, don't wipe anything!
Note: in settings->about phone: nothing will change, nor kernel version, nor the build number (That is OK)
3)download DooMLoRD's Rooting Toolkit for Xperia 2011 ICS [FW:.562]: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1601038

For Neo users, in step 2, you use kernel from Neo V of course. And, Neo users, don't worry about errors when booting with .562 kernel.
If you don't see your contacts after importing them, go to menu->filter-> and play with settings here.
