The HTC One X+ is rolling out in Europe...
So I've started this topic to checkout how much / which screen types there are for the HTC One X+.

For the HTC One X there were three types:
- Acer = 0x4940014
- Sharp = 0x294000f
- Sony = 0x181033

The One X+ has got another screen (Check out the Dutch site: Tweakers.net: Review One X+)
It's less vibrant, has got less brightness (nits) so that's quite a pity :(

The HTC One X+ screen type that is known at the moment is: 0x944a03
So I want to know if other European / American users have got other types of screens in their One X+

How to check out which type of screen you have for the HTC One X+:
• Download: ES File Explorer File Manager @ https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.estrongs.android.pop&hl=nl
• Go to settings, root-settings, and set a mark at 'up to root'
• Start your One X+ TWO TIMES after eachother
• Open ES File Explorer
• Go up and up and up and up till you are in '/'
• Press the searchbutton and search for 'last_kmsg'
• Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait....
• Open this file in a text editor (on your phone or email it to yourself and open it on your computer)
• Search for 'panel_id' and / or 'panel_vendor'
• Check out the code and place it in this thread...

Known types of screens:
0x944a03 = unknown manufacturer, anyone?

The only thing I can think about: started your phone TWO times after eachother?

Finally able to do it. This time I chose to "restart" the phone instead of powering off and turning it back on again.

Anyway my panel id is 0x944a03.

By the way, my phone has this yellowish tint, how about yours?

    logcat apps need a root...

    UK One X+

If anyone wants an easier way to get the last_kmsg.log then install Lumberjack and export it to Gmail, Email or Dropbox from within the app.

You have to have root for Lumberjack & comp.
HOX+ has an Android 4.1 out of the box - which has new security policy that one app can't read sensitive logs of other apps (finally properly sandboxed). Which renders any logcat reading app useless unless you have a root.
just saying - would prefer LogCat Extreme anyway...

easier way (has been written above already by somemadcaaant) should be put/edited in the first post.
    I prefer SE so:

    1. install Solid Explorer (by far the best file manager on android):
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pl.solidexplorer
    2. run it and press twice back so you're in the root folder (or select root in devices drop down menu)
    3. navigate to /proc folder
    4. press 'filter' button and write 'last' and voila last_kmsg appears without some cumbersome scrolling to be done
    5. long press on it and copy/send do whatever you want with it ;)

My HTC One X+ black 64GB UK (International) version

    panel_id=0x944a03
    panel_vendor: 944a03

appears that there is just one screen out there so far... still I'm much more happy with it than Nexus 4 I had - was worse in comparison
