Happy New Year to all. I tried to install on PhilZ-cwm6, but cant. Tried to install the CWM as mentioned in installation. But couldn't update new CWM. It stops at about 80% in ODIN. Please suggest. Thanx in advance.
Thanx for reply. I tried Chenglu's CWM. But I couldn't install it,neither through CWM nor through ODIN. It stops at about 80% in ODIN.

I already downloaded cwm6-root-n7100.tar from Chenglu's thread. But couldn't istall. Ok thanx, I should try again.Restart the phone
Again go into Download mode
Step 1. Put your Galaxy Note 2 into Download mode by turning off your phone first then holding down Volume Down, Center Home, and Power buttons together.
Step 2. Once you see the warning screen, hit Volume Up button to enter ODIN Download Mode then connect a micro-USB cable from your Note 2 to your computer.
Step 3. If you don’t have Samsung USB drivers installed, go ahead and download it below and run it to install.
Download Samsung USB Drivers
Step 4. Next, download GalaxyNote2Root.zip
Download GalaxyNote2Root.zip
Step 5. Unzip the files. Next, open up the ODIN program by double-clicking on the .exe file.
Step 6. You should see a yellow-highlighted COM box with a random number. If you don’t see it, double-check your Windows drivers (the Samsung USB drivers you installed in Step 3) and unplug, plug your Note 2 back into your computer.
Step 7. DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING ELSE and click on “PDA” button then find the file cwm6-root-note2.tar.
Step 8. Hit Start and let ODIN flash the custom CWM Recovery. When it’s done, your Galaxy Note 2 will reboot and you should have a fully rooted Galaxy Note 2.
Your phone will boot into newly installed CWM Recovery automatically once and install Superuser app and su binaries then reboot.
You should find a new Superuser app called “SuperSU”.
You can easily verify you have root by downloading Titanium Backup app (free on Play Store) and running it. You should get a nice Superuser permission pop-up window.

Ankur, generally how long it takes to install cwm with odin? Blue bar on Note is about 40% from last 15 mins, but no restart.I already downloaded cwm6-root-n7100.tar from Chenglu's thread. But couldn't istall. Ok thanx, I should try again.

i allways flash with CWMCan I use TWRP recovery to install or must it be CWM?
And are the S-Pen apps working like on the stock?
I have a SanDisk Class10 32GB SDHC card for about 3 weeks and suddenly, after 9.1 installation with Perseus kernel it started giving me the SD Card Detached Unexpectedly error, when it attaches it immediately. I've tried to put my finger on the cause and didn't success.. I've formatted the card in the phone and on the PC (for all the scenarious) and installed the 9.1 fresh clean with all wipes (problem not gone), installed perseus kernel (problem not gone), installed stock kernel back (problem not gone), flashed another rom (problem not gone), flashed stock rom (problem not gone). BTW in all stages of tests the card IS readable in the PC. the only thing that could make this error stop appearing was turning on the "Protect SD Card" in the development options, but then you can't see things that are located on the SD Card from the gallery for example, and some videos disappears in the file manager, etc... once i removed that option the error started appearing again. I will replace that card with a new one with the warranty, but I am really interested to find the reason of it. I've tried to see the dmsg log (cat /proc/kmsg > /sdcard/dmsg.txt via adb) and the only things relative to card that i've found were those messages:
<7>[108063.505540] c3 usb 1-2: usb auto-suspend
<6>[108063.542123] c0 mif: link_pm_irq_handler: gpio [HWK] get [0]
<7>[108063.542222] c0 usb 1-2: usb auto-resume
<6>[108063.543716] c0 mif: link_pm_irq_handler: gpio [HWK] get [1]
no I/O errors spotted in that log.
Furthermore, today, it gave me the "Damaged SD Card' error, but recognized it back after less then a minute.
can someone please give me an idea about what else can i check ?

BTW, as i can see from this thread, i'm not the only one experiencing the problem described above, but i really do want to find out the reason or the relative log messages since i have a friend working in SanDisk and can help debugging and fixing the error with those SD cards...
