Re: [ROM][SGH-I317 / t0lte][JB][4.2.2] CyanogenMod 10.1 official nightlies

To be quite honest, much like the FAQ reads, this "port/build" of CM will never be 100%. Ive been around the block long enough to purchase many, many devices in hopes that a nice, clean stock AOSP Android is ever reliable and works exactly as my Nexus 4, Galaxy Nexus, Nexus S, Nexus One has with those respective devices. If you ever have the chance to follow most of the devs on Google+, you will know why (Lack of Samsung binaries etc). I take these as proof of concepts mostly, but there is always something wonky that causes you to have to reboot the phone to get functionality back (Camera not connected? anyone?). But i always make sure to donate as these guys are doing us a huge service by providing this for us. :good:

I feel that I'm not complaining I know all about deving especially when no one appreciates what u do and keep expecting more. I was just saying I was used to my gnex that's all. This phone will get there. It is only a matter of time. But I seen the camera thing on yesterday's build

Re: [ROM][SGH-I317 / t0lte][JB][4.2.2] CyanogenMod 10.1 official nightlies

Is anyone having trouble with Netflix playing on this ROM? My Netflix never seems to play and just stays on the loading screen.

Known issue. Please do some research and read the faq's before you post.

Install netflix version 1.8.1 as a workaround. Or, get a kernel that supports Xposed framework.

Download Netflix version 1.8.1 and don't update it to latest. Only way i could get it working. Not the ROM it seems, just a Netflix issue of sorts.

I ran into that but now it seems to low idk. I know its beginning stages and like that above post I can always go back to crapwiz of some such :p

But I rocked cm every day on my sprint gnex so I guess I'm used to a lot actually working. But I have faith in this device.

Yeah I had a GNex and a Nexus 4, I love stock and everything working stock. I am on stock TW now and I love it because everything works how its supposed to. But I always end up coming right back to Vanilla Android just because it feels right. Most of the Roms now work great. Liquid Smooth is the greatest Rom for any phone I have ever tried. The sound on that Rom is great too.

Why do I need to research when I can just ask? Also, thanks for your info.

not sure where to report 4.2.2 CM10.1 / other Roms w/4.2.2 - CM10.1.
I can't get my BT/Bluetooth to connect with my car, but see in the searches some ppl have gotten theirs to connect.
I have a newer vehicle (2013 chevy)
BT/bluetooth connects to other devices. just not my car. I've tried to get answers in the other ROMS, but no feedback.
Is this a semi-issue still? if not, i'll put it to rest then... just curious

In my experience, I sometimes have problems connecting to my car's BT when i do a clean install but after that, it connects with no problems. Mine is a 2009 Toyota.

I've got a 2012 car and I've flashed probably every ROM on here and have not had any problems connecting to BT always do a clean flash may see if you can find someone else running cm10.1/aokp on a different phone and see if the problem is still there.

yes, always clean install, etc. I'm either surround by crapple people or people that dont want to root android, haha. so finding someone else is a no go.

I had this problem with my Gnote1 and having a newer car 2013. when Devs were starting to port/make JB 4.1.x, 6 months ago w/ the whole BT/bluetooth issue back then, if anybody remembers. b/c that seemed to be everyones gripe when CM team breaks ground on the next release.

Re: [ROM][SGH-I317 / t0lte][JB][4.2.2] CyanogenMod 10.1 official nightlies

Does anyone know why there is no wireless display option in settings>display on this cm build? Apparently this is built in to some other cm10.1 device builds. I really want to run a cm ROM but need to be able to use the Allshare Cast dongle. Please help

    CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.2 (JB), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    Code:
    #include
    /*
     * Your warranty is now void.
     *
     * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
     * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
     * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
     * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
     * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
     *
     * Submitting bug reports on nightly builds is the leading
     * cause of male impotence.
     */

    CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    Great friggin' news:

    Yep, we did it again! Our opensource audio HAL seems to work almost fine.
    Incall earpiece, speaker, mic and bluetooth are working. A2dp works also.
    Since Google Now works properly i assume the Camcorder will be fine, too.
    Headset is working as well.

    Thanks, I just installed ForceKernel (OC TO 1,920Mhz) and then run some benchmarks and it's much slower than Perseus, I used to get in Perseus around 7,500 in Quadrant and now I get around 4,500 to 5,500, am I doing something wrong ?

    NOTE: I am using SetCPU and the Governor is "pegasusq"
