i have followed the steps using the single SD card option. when i try to boot into android it take a long time (longer then other SD boots) and sometimes hangs and the 'quietly brillient screen. if it does get past that and the lock screen appears, when i unlock it either the phone it reboots android (i.e not going through magldr) and hangs and the htc screen, or the phone just freezes at the lock screen. this seems to happen when it says 'preparing sd card' in the top left of the screen.

the wp7 install seems to boot fine and recognises the SD card. i have a 16GB card (kingston i think)

When I had that problem it was because I was using an Android build that did not have a modified rootfs.img file.

To ensure that this is not your problem try using http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=859817 MDJ 4.6 Desire HD.

And going here and getting a modified rootfs.img file for that build.

Replace the rootfs.img file that comes with the build with this one. I know that this is working because it is the one that I have been using for a couple weeks now along with WP7. "hope that works for you"!

No, we can't boot wm65 from sd until cotulla finishes making an sd bootable version of sd... it will probably be a while before this happens. Maybe in a couple months.

I will be really excited for that day, anything to follow so I don't miss this news? There are still so many things I havnt been able to replace with android or wp7. Especially when it comes to long multiday duration outdoor activities

there are instrucctions in the first post by the third method. I haven't tested it, but you should try if you'd like t have a bigger partition for android.

works
confirmed
tha base sd 4gb
the second 16
partitions copied from 4gb to 16gb , the remaining the android partition
finally wp7 has 3,94 gb , android 11,94 and around 98 mb unallocated
perfect

wp7 , tytung nexus sd 18 with modified rootfs, mgldr12

after the first installation i copied the wp7 partition 4x -reason : reinstalled the wp7
on the 16 gb the android not changed , only the wp7 partitions (size was the same - only this need to fit )
easily overwritable the two wp7 partitions and works
